I said it as a way to show I disagree with the “stop the boats” slogan and the ideology that some of those who use the slogan believe. 
 

I took it off as the point of the post wasn’t to display my political viewpoints. More as a plead to keep politics and football separate. Especially politics that can cause much divide in the fanbase.

 

I never meant it to say my viewpoint is more valid than anyone else’s.

 

However I was very ashamed and quite angered to see a city fan mutter racially prompted abuse towards a group of young Charlton fans.

The Stop The Boats thing is kind of laughable coming from the most in-land city in the UK, and one of the most multicultural at that.

Only boats worth mentioning are the party boat down the Thames, and HMS Piss The League (currently sat in Birkenhead Docks having several leaks patched).

I'm surprised people have the mental bandwidth to be angry about it as well as Leicester City right now, it's exhausting enough being a fan of this club without the barrage of Twitter politics to deal with on top. Perhaps it's about time they started giving folks Statins with their £7 beer in the concourse.

We can’t even muster the vitriolic / rebellious anti board atmosphere. The most anger towards an individual was against Ward last year in the wolves game and booing substitutions.
