I'll ways remembered this game for my wild celebration, celebrated  so hard for one of the goals, tripped over and knocked down two other guys behind me, best thing everyone just laughed about it afterwards 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I remember one game, l was sat at the back of one the stands & just watched Kante for about 5 mins. The amount of ground he covered was unreal, it was like having 12 players.

Up there with our best ever signings.

We could wax lyrical about Kante forever but I too used to watch him and he covered left and right in midfield, shielded the centre halfs and the full backs.

He was a phenonium. A total and utter freak of a player

To be fair Pep's style is great to watch when its a team that attacks with possession and a lot of quality like his Barca 09-11 or recent Man City teams.

Its the death by possession bang average teams who have ruined football thinking its the way to play.

That Barcelona team was a joy to watch, teams would park the bus but would always get broken down.
Your last sentence is spot on.

After dyer scored the winner we waited to see how he was and where I was sitting, no one was certain that the goal stood. The relief of dyer being ok and the ref pointing to the restart was overwhelming.

I was so confused…. For some reason it hadn’t occurred to me that he may have scored….As nobody appeared to celebrate…

When they went back to the centre circle I realised we’d been awarded a goal

it was utterly bizarre…. What a game that was…. Loved it

I was sat elsewhere in the ground that day. A friend had a spare ticket next to him so I gave mine to a relative and sat with him. I don't think it was row A but it wasn't far off. Couldn't see a bloody thing all game lol I thought he'd given a freekick to the Villa keeper.

People saying how the crowd was different and behind the team. No shit they were, we were undefeated at that point of the season and also playing with no fear as it was still a case of "go out and see what we can do." Once the comeback was complete, I thought we had something special to at least keep us up.

If the team is doing well, the fans will always be there to keep cheering them on. Nothing to do with clappers or singing sections. It's all about what is happening on the pitch and if you go into a game looking at a team sheet and going "we could have a good go here." I honestly don't believe I have watched an England or City match and thought that for at least 4 years.

Interestingly this is  5 games in and Ranieri is yet pick his regular starting line up for the season.

Sounds pretty obvious but I'm hoping Marti is going to soon find his trusted starting 11 with certain players left out of the starting line up .

When the 3rd went in it was so weird. It’s like we had fast forward to VAR times. No one really knew if the goal was going to stand.

Can't believe how bad Inler was

So true. I watch a lot of Italian football and was so excited when he signed. He was very good for Napoli, but clearly just couldn't adjust to the Premier League (and the way we played) for some reason.

To be fair, as it turned out, at 31 he had already seen his best years by the time he came to us.
