Does anybody know if we have any more blocks if E1 sells out? I didn't think this would sell as well as it has been so been trying to hang on for Norwich, which I presumed would be announced this week, so I could get Hull and Norwich together but now looking at Hull it seems I may have to just buy them.

Why wait?????? Just get the tickets when you can🤷. Or do you get bonus points for ordering 2 different aways ???

I maybe wrong but I thought they'd want a service charge for both games so thought I'd wait and get both together.

This is a prime example of a fixture which would sell more tickets if on general sale/booking history. Sadly, because the club insists on only selling tickets to season ticket holders and members, it means there isn't a gateway for newer supporters to try out going to an away match. Similarly, it closes off extra sales to casual fans who can only get to very few matches per season.

Exactly.

As long as you've got some booking history in the last year it should be open to anyone.

I can understand why they wouldn't want it open to all general especially if its a cat A classification.

I've got friends and family who are ex-season ticket holders with home and away points and they are now unable to go to any away games as the club now refuses to sell tickets to them, even when it looks like they won't sell out.  It's ridiculous.

To anyone who hasn't yet completed the "away priority tickets survey" ... make sure you put in the comments section at the bottom, that they should put away tickets on general sale (or at least to anyone with a suitable previous booking history).

As you say, the existing behaviour is insane.

ay tickets priority

That's exactly what I'm talking about. The policy is nonsensical.

The club are seemingly so committed to this policy that they're continually willing to let seats go spare at away matches. They're failing to adjust to the lower demand for away tickets, and that's in spite of allocations still selling out 95% of the time. It's not as though general sale or booking history would even have to be in place for every away match, which further highlights the lack of common sense.

The selling criteria being more stringent for 'big' away matches is slightly more understandable, and the demand dictates that general sale/booking history isn't required anyway. It's games like these which are the problem, the club can't honestly believe people would travel to Hull on a Tuesday night to cause trouble.

That is supposedly the reason behind them not putting fixtures on general sale or booking history, which just doesn't stand up at all. Therefore, like with home matches until their stance had to become more lenient, it leads fans like myself to think the club are simply using away matches as a way of getting money from memberships.

What else are you meant to deduce?

Nail on the head......we live up in the Nort East now and would have been a game i'd be interested in going to.....but i'm not going to buy a membership i'd never use.I can get a ticket to most games if i come "home"(but don't usually bother because of the silly pricing for walk ups)Will be going to the Boro away as i know enough Boro fans to get me sorted, but then i ain't going to "back the lads" as i'll be in the home end which is cheaper!
