How many different fan engagement /liaison people do we need? Particularly given we don't seem to liaise with fans..

I've been told the head of was useless as their prior job at England cricket yet somehow fell upwards into a role here - who'd have thought it??...

As supporters, we should all have a vested interest in the Fan Engagement Framework and how those within it are representing us (at the end of the day, that’s what they are there as: representation of a wider group).

You can tell them what you think about how they’re doing: [email protected]

I mean it’s club employees who see that email inbox - and FAB reps don’t have direct access to it as far as I understand  - but, of course, you’d hope the club will pass constructive feedback on…

If these minutes (and previous ones) do one thing, I hope it’s create more scrutiny on the Fan Engagement Framework and how it’s serving us as Leicester City fans.

"There was a discussion about the evolution of the Club’s senior leadership structure, with focus on clarifying responsibilities and enabling long-term development across football and commercial operations."

How much of this discussion involved something along the lines of "How on god's green earth can you be so shit at your jobs and why have you come out of it with promotions instead of a P45 slip?"

A reunion event for the 2016 title-winning squad will take place after the end of the 2025/26 season. • The Club are working closely with players from that era to develop and deliver the event and details will be made public in due course.

I thought Simpson had said they'd had no response from the club on this.

I mean I will often take my driving license because I'll drive, but it's really besides the point. Take someone who has a medical condition that disbars them from driving (e.g. severe epilepsy), are they required to spend £100+ or whatever it is on a passport just to go to Peterborough?

Not even there. Was the Nottingham franchise of the made-up Hundred nonsense.

Imagine being a nodding dog was a prerequisite for getting that role.

Sad really, they can we a vital bridge for fans and the club.  Don't want to sound like some kind of fanboy for scottish football but i've read numerous reports of fan liasions in scotland working with supporter/ultra groups and being incredibly important to growing/helping the groups up there.

I'd be interested to hear if the UFS have had any dealings positive or otherwise with our liasons?

It's  like Lady Morron complaining to the Captain on the Titanic about the damp and shoddy seating arrangement of the main dining hall, 2 hrs after the iceberg collision.

That's partly why the club is where it is.

If they did take it semi seriously  and take on board some of the issues raised and actioned them they wouldn't  be so much disengagement.

I saw earlier in the week the FAB twitter account at Sheffield United stress to fans that it had told the club how important it is to get pre season plans out early.

Two days later Sheff United announce a game away to Bochum. The FAB then follow up this with more tweets with info on flights and best airports to travel via etc.

No way our club will communicate anything to us in a swift and timely manner regarding preseason.

Recent preseason away game announcements for us have been clouded in mystery. It's very clear that KP do not want our supporters at these games.

Fvck me, what is the point in these meetings? Absolute tosh "actions" taken away.

Mostly a waste of time. Only vaguely interesting bit was the Summer / Pre-Season Communication section. If anyone on the FAB is here can they confirm that this line "Members discussed the balance between accountability, transparency and protecting individuals from unacceptable personal abuse." means that effectively the club said we cant hold anyone responsible because if we did then people would be mean to them?

In addition, did anyone press the club on their "intention to work towards consistent senior leadership visibility" and why the result of this was one internal PR interview, and one disastrous Leicester Mercury interview followed by radio silence despite the catastrophic situation the club has subsequently found themselves in? Because from where I'm sitting this sounds like they're mocking you to your face.
