It's slowly turning into a You'll Never Walk Alone situation where the chant version is quite shit but the fans singing it just before the match at the right tempo with the music is really quite special.

Only Leicester fans would slate it. I swear as a group we're never content.

Self depreciation is deeply rooted in Leicester DNA.

WYS is ours but always preferred Those Were The Days back in the day.

Yes, love those were the days, can never understand why such a catchy tune as never really caught on nowadays.

I suppose the We'd Fight and Never Lose was more fitting on and off the pitch back then.

True, lol but still a great chant that should be resurrected.

I sang it at the in-laws wedding, absolutely murdered it but still had a couple of drunk old deers dancing along lol

Presume this a predictive text error?

I believe self-deprecation is probably the correct term. :)

This is true of many of these types of songs. Forest's as well - it's begrudgingly very good at home. Away it's really nothing to write about.

Much better than that droney dirge

"We support the Lestuh, the Lestuh, the Lestuh

"And that's the way we like it, like it, like it

"Wohhhhheeeewohhhhweewohhhhh

""Wohhhhheeeewohhhhweewohhhhhhhh"

This chant should be spoken about as a problem, not When You’re Smiling. The Ranieri version of We Love You was good but it should have been left alone after that.

Jersey Budd plays up front in the Irish league for St Patricks

He was looking for somewhere to stay for £700 or lower on a Leicester flat page last time I seen his name pop up

The old When You're Smiling we used to sing, with the jazz hands, was great. I wish it could come back. But then I wish proper terraces could come back, and all the games being at 3pm on Saturday, and being able to rock up on the day with a couple of quid to get in, and - well, you know, if you're old.

Times (and songs) change, I suppose...
