Mista_cle31 Posted 24 January Posted 24 January I don't want Michael Skubala to leave Lincoln City as I want them to go up and do well (they're my second team), but he'd be a fantastic appointment for the Foxes. Dave Challinor or Richie Wellens would also be decent too.

Mista_cle31 Posted 24 January Posted 24 January Skubala lives in Leicestershire too, so at least would be local 😂 1

Aleksz Posted 24 January Posted 24 January I have always wondered about Skubala’s Leicestershire connections and if he could be pally with Rudkin.
Popular Post Stuntman_Mike Posted 24 January Popular Post Posted 24 January We need a short term, boring appointment like Mowbray. We need to get back to basics with someone who is likely to give us a bit of a lift, just to see us through. Someone who will actually motivate, command respect, take no shit and have the fans on side. 7

Kopic Posted 24 January Posted 24 January I've been calling for Mowbray since 2021. Make it happen. 3

Foxin_Mad Posted 24 January Posted 24 January (edited) We definitely need an old school back to basics manager. We first need to develop basic mentality. We are second to every ball, there’s no urgency even when losing, there seems to be no self pride and desire to win. We have to learn to defend, we need to learn to be a bit stronger and more physical. We are so easy to play against it’s untrue. Edited 24 January by Foxin_Mad 1
JimJams Posted 24 January Posted 24 January Get Bielsa after the world cup. He'll slum it if you leave him to it.

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 24 January Posted 24 January Billy Whitehurst with Assistant as Roy McDonough and Terry Hurlock, Mick Hartford and Mark Dennis as coaches; plus a sprinkling of Gary Coatsworth and Andy Feeley - hardest barstewards in my life of following City.
BangBang Posted 24 January Posted 24 January Marco Rose, Stefano Pioli, but my favorite - Mark van Bommel

I wonder what a pair of defenders like Coatsworth and Feeley would make of having Hamza and Soumare playing in front of them. Ouch!

Ouch! Well put it like this, Vinny Jones is a pussycat compared to them. Feeley and Coatsworth would eat Soumare and Hamza in seconds! 1

There is a bit of a risk, of course, but virtuallyevery managerial appointment has risk attached. Managers such as these give a better chance of continuity and future progression if they do manage to achieve initial success. 1
CarolinaFox Posted 24 January Posted 24 January Been saying Skubala for a while now. We definitely need a change but the timing is really poor. Should have sacked Marti months ago. Changing managers at the tail end of the transfer window is less than ideal.
