You might want to try home games.. I very much doubt they will come over away.. I’ve never seen them do it anyways..

Fair enough,  we live in Sheffield and have a season ticket so seemed a good opportunity.  Thanks for the heads up

A-lot of clubs when staying here do so at the Mercure. We deffo have before. Might be worth scoping that out on the day.

Taking my lads to their first proper away match for this one. 

 

Been many years since I went to an away so I have a possible stupid question - the tickets obviously have an allocated "seat" but does this mean anything in practice?

 

Should I try to stand in my allocated spot or is it more of a everyone just finds their own place?

 

Also anyone got tips on parking nearby (or even a bit further out if it facilities a smoother getaway)

First trip to Bramall Lane for me, I’ve done Wednesday away loads but strangely never Utd.  Are there any away pubs near the ground?  It’s really central so is it just city centre stuff?

Yeah city centre best. Beer Engine is close to the ground but the only one that might let away fans in.
