As much as you are desperate for this to be the case, Faes isn't actually #1 enemy at the club. Synonymous with this terrible era - yes absolutely. He will never be liked. But he will be forgotten, he's not all that important in this. Plenty of players get it in the neck. Directors get it even more. The owner is starting to get it even more than those. He is decent on the ball and in a good side will be able to get away far more wit the lapses in concentration, whereas here you have no time or room for error, people at your back constantly getting the shoulder in. My prediction is he is a backup at the World Cup in the summer and ends up at Monaco for a few years as their 3rd choice/european cb. Don’t hate him, just never got off the floor and things got very toxic on both sides, glad he is gone and we have his wages back in hand for the time being
