For this not for him 😂😂 no but you are dead right, can’t live without him, I cried myself to sleep last night to my Wout Faes poster. I don’t believe it will be that difficult but we will wait and see how it goes. Have to ask where you have heard this whole Wout Faeces from, you’re the only person I have seen use that, think we need to give you the credit for that beauty

If we get in £25k a week from Monaco then that is a profit on the current the budget were we running a normal business. It strikes me that amortising the transfers the way clubs do, means we reject 'income' as it shows as a loss, so its better to have nothing than something, which is weird. Profit I would suggest isn’t perhaps the right word. You are right that in the “ budget “ the total cost would have been factored in so any savings is a reduction in spend which goes back to my point have the EFL set out a business plan which the club have no choice but to reduce spend? The sum being amortised won’t reduce and will have to be factored in so you are looking at what circa 17-18 weeks @£25k which yes is a saving and of course we don’t know if there is a loan fee but love the player or hate him he is a current international who others seem to rate. It seems that going forward the first choice CBs will probably be Okoli and Nelson who between them this season have started 23 games and the cover will be provided by a old man or a player who really isn’t up to it. 1

A club that is able to plan as opposed to react( planning doesn’t seem to be the situation LCFc find themselves in) will look at the current year and factor in not just the remaining sum to be amortised but take a view over the current year first in that them leaving will deliver a wage saving but the savings moving on are even more beneficial. Often in year one there aren’t savings but in subsequent years there will be. I don’t think the system in itself encourages clubs to reject fees below amortisation I think most clubs can’t see the wood for the trees and kid themselves that players are worth more than the market says and because the accounting bottom is so important very few clubs are prepared ,which they actually are required to do, reassess the value of a player against the balance of the fee that has to be amortised and impair the value or advance the sum to be amortised if you like .Simply because clubs simply can’t increase current year squad costs even though in the long term it’s often advantageous. Agree, he's off the wage bill and out the way - but he's somehow lucked out and swapped us for Monaco - so on a personal level he will be grinning like a cheshire cat.

Unless he improves his attitude and performance levels drastically he'll be on the bench for Monaco for the remainder of the season and back here in the summer. Probably won't be in the Belgium world cup squad either.

Most defenders in the decade before him managed to achieve things here and didn't need to be bundled out on loan. Yeah, he's escaping us at our worst point but, as @Dan said, he'll be one of the symbols of the decline.
MC Prussian Posted 14 January Posted 14 January Likely to start at home vs. Lorient on Friday. Also remember: He COULD come back.

I DO MAKE SENSE, fans blaming everything on WOUT FAES, well problem solved, I just go further on the written rhetorics of the fans... again I propose a bet....(brits like bets)... known all over the planet... Pas du tout. Il est un symbole pour l'état dans lequel le club se trouve. He's been utterly erratic for us, and cost us many a point since he joined. His defending is laughable at times, he wants to be a David Luiz Mk. II so bad, but is constantly failing. I do hope Monaco decide to buy Wout, so you can take your business and cringe posts elsewhere. Edited 14 January by MC Prussian

Think the physicality and speed of England was too much for him to cope sometimes. He’s not the biggest or the fastest and lacks concentration. One of his biggest strengths is his ball playing ability, he’ll get plenty of time in Ligue 1 to show this.

Even then, they won't be good enough for this superstar. He'll enjoy the Monaco lifestyle and the casinos and be able to watch the GP but will still go on to decry his teammates, the club and the fans once they realise what he is and then slag him off, like we have.
