For those continuing to not attend or spend a penny at the KP until change happens...

I thought i'd create a (hopefully) light hearted space to share what i'm/we're doing instead.

Funnily enough, I still like live football lol so Saturday 24th (Oxford at home) will see me taking in Notts County vs Crewe at Meadow lane, a lunchtime kick off.

Also intending to go back there on March 14th (QPR at home) to take in a potential Sammy Braybrooke Chesterfield appearance. (I mentioned this on another thread and I know a few fellow notts foxes were interested, so let me know!)

I'd like to try and see some real grassroots stuff too, Dad lives in Newark so have earmarked a few Newark town fixtures.

Honestly... I hope this thread doesn't take me to the end of the season (or even beyond)... but who knows

9 home (league) games to go this season!

Missing the Oxford game to go watch All Time Low at the O2.
usually I’d be annoyed at missing a game, this season not so much.

gave the ticket to a mate, I think I should have paid him for the privilege

I'm missing it for the same reason!

I’ve tried to book a more enjoyable experience than the game but apparently dentists won’t perform root canal surgery unless you have a problem with the tooth :dunno:

I've only been to two football matches this season, Tenerife vs CD Arenteiro and, more enviously, Bolton v Rotherham in the Football League Trophy.

I'm a lifetime member of an indy cinema, so I've been going to showings of classic films there, or I go play in a Pokemon TCG event with my friends.

I haven't actually needed live football that much cos I've been busy most Saturdays, even though I'd like to go see West Didsbury and Chorlton or something it hasn't aligned.

Having done 17 years and missed only a handful of home games I've gone complete cold turkey this season, I don't tend to post in here ( a bit in general chat etc.) but you know what I haven't missed it one bit.

Results like today would have annoyed me for days but now I barely even raised an eye brow.

I've found more time to go Mountain Biking and take the daughter to her dance class and go for a coffee with the wife.

There is so much more to life than LCFC and I never thought the club would be so easy to just cut off. The club  how it is now has done this to me and in a strange way I'm glad.

So fcuk top, Rudkin and the rest of them. You owe the people of Leicester a lot and until you go you won't see me.

Oh come on, surely you mean Cold Goose?

West Didsbury and Chorlton are a fantastic non league club! Really recommend you go when you get the chance.

Well I had a thoroughly enjoyable time at Meadow lane today watching Notts County.

Played some lovely football at times.

Highly recommend it for those boycotting.

Although not a match going fan for obvious reasons. I am now waking up on a Sunday morning fully refreshed and ready to go outside and smell the fresh air. (Although today’s air is full of bushfire smoke and not so fresh).

I haven’t missed watching a game for years before this season. Now I settle for feeling great in the morning and only watching the 3 minute you’ve been framed style clip of the previous nights defending.

Been in Oxford yesterday funnily enough

Even saw the away fans at their stadium getting on the coaches to come up here.

Back in the day I’d get family meal times rearranged just so I could make the match. These days, certainly yesterday, I checked the score at HT and FT and smiled. Sad.
