I don’t think he’s ever shirked from asking difficult questions. He’s a reporter, not a pundit, and as such he has to tread a fine line because he’s supposed to be impartial. But he always seems very happy to allow his guests on the WYS podcast to let rip into the club. I don’t think he’d do that if he was a yes man.

The WYS podcast has guests with a diversity of opinions, yes.

 

However I'm talking mainly about his questioning towards the manager in pre-match and post-match press conferences.

Can also extend this to any communication between him and anyone connected to the club.

That's harsh. He has to manage a fragile relationship with the club to get opportunities that haven't been afforded to others.

True. You only have to listen to Jason Bourne....never said **** all against the club when employed by RL but now he's at Talksport, he speaks his mind and hits the nail on the head.

Exactly, he has to maintain a good relationship with the club for his employer. They do a decent job at questioning the club through some of their pundits like Pipes and Fryatt. Granted as fans we'd want more but it's not going to happen.

Tbf Owynn used to go on the Coalville away bus years ago before he got into media so I can vouch for him being a fan. Where is the link to the interview?
