Just the latest episode of our demise. Damage limitation against a team we were two leagues above a year ago.

No doubt in my mind we'll be relegated. Sheffield Wednesday are the only worse team in the division.

Our greatest problem is ourselves. We always take the negative option, passing backwards and trying to slowly build up play. It's been this way under numerous managers. I watched Brentford against Newcastle and Brentford get the ball forward as quickly as possible. Just reminded me how simple the game is, when playing with intent to attack.

And they aren’t even good at passing it around and any.bit of pressure they fold, yet our players stop their press 2 metres away and let them pass.  It’s frustrating that the players, captain, coaches and managers can’t see or ignore the obvious but think, let’s keep this style up. The forwards move for the initial pass but get ignored then just stand around like they have given up.

It’s like stats and analysis doesn’t exist in the club. Ricardo unfortunately is now in the unlikeable category with JV and Thomas. Constantly passing backwards and putting others under pressure instead of a forward pass. Thomas could’ve booted the ball into the box from the free kick.

Rubbish. Watch and analyse the game properly and stop writing headlines like that which you know makes fans pile on with negativity. Play like that and we’ll be absolutely fine. Created numerous brilliant chances and win comfortably on another day.

....

I didn't realise this was a parody! lol

But for what its worth, I don't think we will be relegated and I am as negative as they come!

I do agree about relegation though, I don't think we will go down.

Ignore Sheffield Wednesday who are already down, there will be two worse teams than us.

I can see us finishing just below mid table. Call me crazy.

I think he's parodying when Maddison said the same pal

No wonder my punditry career never took off.

It's pretty much kamikaze stuff. Opposition must always think their easiest game of the season is against us. Give a goal away after 2 mins with a mistake (mistake leading to goals happens at least once a game) red card in first half from stupid needless challenge. Run out of legs because they're not fit enough and cant keep the ball. Bring some crap off the bench which doesn't impact the game at all. Same every week. Dire stuff. Where will get some wins from? James needs to come back ASAP.

I agree.

And some people would happily have Enzo back for more of the same sh1t and in even larger quantities.

The fascination with this horrendous style of football, for our club at least, simply has to end, but until the Polo Loving Nepo Baby 'does one" and sells up, I'm afraid it won't happen as he's fixated with it and still hell bent on us playing like a B-Tec Man City,  hence we continue to see its influence in our play still to this day.

It's why managers like Enzo, and Russell Martin (god help us) keep getting hired because of their devotion to it.

It’s dying a death thankfully. As ever though, we’ll be 5 years too slow on the uptake

There’s a real lack of concentration in this squad. So many mistakes leading the goals it’s unbelievable. I feel we need a manager that is going to hammer home the basics to this lot as bar Fatawu and JJ we are incapable of doing anything more than that. The time has come to be hard to beat. On the plus side, good to see Lascelles have a solid debut and hopefully he can be instrumental in getting us clean sheets.
