Simply because we have no real network. We are the laziest club in England 

 

it’s been evident for a long while. It’s all about who someone at the club knows or our friendly agents and who they put forward. 
 

When petty was here we went after villa youth cast offs, that was our youth strategy. If it doesn’t fall in our lap we aren’t interested

I remember a football manager save when I set a self imposed rule (as championship Leicester City) I was only allowed to sign Romanians to make it more difficult.

 

this would still result in better recruitment than we have seen recently.

Rudkin and The Khunt are unbelievably bad networkers.

Part of me believes Top thinks we are Liverpool and we can follow their route of signing Saints players and hope it pays off.

It is bizzare considering we’ve been a bigger club and more successful for several decades.
