Maddison was one of many many reasons that edged us over into inevitable relegation. Fatawu shooting more than passing might see him dropped to the bench in other teams, I don’t think we have solved the conundrum of playing without him (whether he’s on or off the pitch)

It's underperformer of the season and you're suggesting one of the two consistent goal threats we have.

 

I don't think Fatawu has performed to his best in the second half of the season either but look at the squad. You've got the likes of Winks, Skipp, Daka, Ricardo, Vestergaard, Choudhury, Reid, Ayew, Thomas, Okoli, Mavididi all on a hefty wage and all chucking it in every week.

he is playing for the shop window unfortunately, for a player that has a estimated value of around 30 million, he has been shocking last half of the season 

9 goals and 7 assists in this team doesn't make you the biggest underperformer though.

 

He's trying too hard half the time because no one else is stepping up and he is constantly crowded out because opposition know he's our only threat.

There's no way that a player with 10 goals and 9 assists in his 28 starts is a reason for us being relegated.

 

Him being unavailable with injury for a big spell of that season was a big reason we went down. Anyone would want a player with his quality.

 

Leicester fans seem to have a real problem with quality players with personality and seem to be absolutely fine with carthorses with absolutely no quality whatsoever.

I'd rather trust Fatawu's long distance shooting than see him pass the ball to the likes of Ayew, Daka or Mavididi.

That list of players is honking ! 

 

Shows how difficult it is to choose an underperformer as expectations were low given the quality and mentality of our squad.

Amazes me that he’s still starting so many games, I know we’re struggling for players but he’s been nothing short of a disgrace

We broke PSR rules and over spent tens of millions to not even have someone ordinary to come in the side to replace him.

Mavididi - he should be ashamed of his output this season. Especially so given his comments at the start.

 

I would also say Ricardo - yes, legs have gone but the lack of awareness for an experienced player is shocking. That Preston goal as an example - you dont need bloody legs to anticipate danger!

Quite easy to replace nothingness, draft in a youth team player. It’s not just his footballing ability, his body language is what makes it 10 times worse.

He is putting himself in the shop window, there are  multiple times he has given the ball away or not tracked back that leads to a goal - how many shots did he have v shef wednesday that didn't even hit the target? His shot conversion must be 1 in about 25, it is so frustrating to watch. 

 

yes he had a good return first half of the season, but we are talking about a player who has a 30 million price tag on him. For me, he is one of the biggest underperfromers, NOT worst player by any stretch

I have long thought this and it goes beyond simply liking players who graft and work hard. It's like they'd rather have a player who definitely won't ever produce anything than a player who sometimes will but sometimes won't.

 

I think a lot of Leicester fans reckon football is fundamentally incredibly simple and also really easy, so if a player has the ability but isn't performing it can only be because they aren't trying hard enough or the classic "thinks he's better than he is".

The idiot manager we had who should never have got the job. Really a blithering halfwit should have been able to coach this squad to a mid table position. Somehow Cifuentes managed to coach us to relegation contenders with the worst stats and fitness in the division. Some achievement even for a nobody. He talked a good game, but delivered not more than a handful of semi decent performances.
