May be an image of newsagent and text that says "MAR TIN ISTOP CHOICE - क CITY FOR RANIERI RETURNS TITLE1YEARSC PAGES46 aluse LN EX-SAINTS AND RANGERS BOSS CONSIDERS OFFER TO TAKE CHARGE OF RELEGATED FOXES INJURED AS FOXES CLAIM FIRST BLAST WIN PAGE 41"

That’s just a rehash of the Nixon story, which Nixon himself has since distanced himself from. And the Mercury doesn’t even carry it on its website, which it would if it believed there was anything in it.

I know statements don't mean a lot, but sounds very much like he wants/needs a summer off

That'll be fine with us at the pace we work at. Appointment by mid August, what's the rush? lol

It would be quite fitting to have a team

of Aiyashit, Ruddick and Martin when relegation to League Two is announced. Sorry glover and the other willy puller, DOF can be in that group as well.

If Martin’s hired I’m all for League Two Leicester - complete the project. Let the seals clap 70% passing percentage and a 0-4 loss to Notts County on the last day.

Russell Martin is the Doomsday Scenario for me. Surely the powers that be cannot be that fckn stupid? You can almost hear the belly laughter coming from St Mary's and Ibrox.

They might well be. I have a feeling this Martin story is bogus, however.

Probably right, every time for years, before new manager is announced its never one of the bookies favourites, somebody comes im from nowhere.

Almost as if theres a behind the scenes syndicate  going on?

We'd be lucky to get him

We'd be lucky to NOT to get him.

The bloke is an incompetent fraud, who loves the sound of his own voice. He is 10000% not what we need at the club, EVER!!!

His horrendous managerial record speaks volumes as to why we (or any club really) don't need the tw@t as a "manager" and I use that term in its loosest possible sense....

Rudders defo reads Foxestalk

Wasn't it written that Rudkin had to leave the county as he didn't feel safe....maybe to Notts but still wants to be associated with a Fox?

Now I'm not suggesting anything....

Is rudders capable of reading   Just asking for a friend

Its actually quite well known within the game that he suffers with dyslexia and seems to put extra zero's on the player's contracts.

I wondered if they will be looking for a biggish name, someone that will pull in some global/commercial attention.

Rather than someone like Challinor, perhaps Steven Gerrard.

As always there arent many leaks but I am getting a bit concerned we are in June now and all I have heard is Russell Martin, I actually dont think it will be him, I think he will try and rebuild his reputation abroad where a fan base may have less preconceptions about him.

Esteban Cambiasso?..

Stoke fans want rid of Robins, I couldn’t think of a safer pair of hands.

Think his stock has fallen a bit, especially when Stoke were near the top and had a sudden, gradual decline last season.

Mark Robins would be a sensible choice. Liverpool sack Slot and talk to someone the next day. It is almost as though they have a plan in place.  I am.not sure what ours is.....
