But he is a board member. And as a fan in that setting could’ve used it to his advantage.

Question, had he asked one of the difficult questions and Top walked away or simply didn’t approach - what would’ve been worse ? Answer truthfully. Because saying something like, Aiyawatt why is Jon Rudkin still here - would’ve been a damn sight more powerful than that entire exchange.

Look who is critical of this exchange the most. See what they do outside of this - how much corporate experience they have at board level. Tommy G for example as he had said on here is a highly skilled CFO - listen to him.

As a fanbase we now need to work together and criticise when it is right to do so - the clubs in serious trouble, it’s not about being nice to each other anymore.

It was a shit exchange and shouldn’t happen again. Thats it. It’s not personal it’s so why we do it better the next time.

I always trust people who describe themselves as 'highly skilled'. You dont need anyone with corporate experience to be honest, theres loads about and they'll achieve nothing through diplomacy.

Tommy G hasn’t described himself as highly skilled. I have

I know none of the criticism has intended to be personal but it's felt like that reading it.

100% agree we need to work together and criticise when it's right to do so.

I think the Trust have gone a long way to doing that in the last 12 months or so. If you can't see that then that's worrying?

Like I've mentioned before, in that moment I'd have love to know what wording you'd have used for several questions you wanted answering in that short and brief time.

My god no one is saying the Trust hasn’t improved from the shit show it was 12 months ago.

But that exchange was disapointing so no I’m not going to say well done mate, felt the emotion in your voice.

We are in a shit storm and need our Trust to be stronger than ever. Take the criticism, improve - move onto the next exchange.

This is a long run and we are in it together.

Fair enough but your post didn't read like that.

Things that could have been said:

Sack John Rudkin

Get a proper sponsor

Stop giving out stupid contracts

Swap the family stand with the kop

Things that were said:

I've been to every game this season

Im on the board of the foxes trust

Sorry for swearing

A worthwhile chat

Brutal 😂

He’s put himself out there, in the heat of the moment and maybe naively.

If only Top would have looked to sell the club after Vichai's passing. He, his family and his surroundings should have known that Top couldn't handle fronting LCFC and KP as well as go through that personal ordeal.
I don't blame him for his wish to do well for the club, I think that comes from a genuine place, but it's proven to be so out of touch and naïve that he's achieved the opposite of what he wanted.

Imagine the reverence we'd have for him and Vichai if he had correctly passed on the torch? He's ruined that now.

I know it's obvious that he didn't write it, but the mix of 'I' vs 'We' pronouns shows an abdication of personal responsibility.

"am truly sorry for the disappointment we have caused"

Of course the players are also to blame but this if this statement is to hold weight it should reflect the opening where he takes 'responsibility' and so if you read further you find that in fact, he doesn't truly.

If you read this as a statement penned by Rudkin (+PR Staff) it makes more sense.

This is equivalent to saying "I'm sorry you're upset".

It's weak and so, in that sense, truly reflects the owner.

That shrug of the shoulders though.

You couldn't make this up if you tried. He actually thought we were going to win all 3 games... just because.

Because we’ve got Seagrave and pay the players a lot mate, that’s how football works, exactly as it played out 10 years ago.

Where’s Aiyawatts Mum in all of this? I thought she was supposed to be a bit more cold and ruthless

Is she not able to step in and fvck both him and Ruskin off?

To be fair to Top, in that interview he was asked what the consequences of not getting promotion this year is for the club, he said ‘We Promote’.

We all thought he was talking about the team, but he was actually talking about the Leadership Team. It followed with, ‘We promote’….Jon Rudkin to CFO, Kevin Davies to CEO.

Now relegation is confirmed, fully expect Top to go two footed and double down on the ‘We Promote’ attitude.

Big Summer re-fresh as follows:

James MacCarron, will be looking for a ‘cooling off period’ clause to get out of his Contract. So ‘We Promote’ the Set Pieces Coach to the Sporting Director.

Gary Rowett will be promoted to Head of Recruitment to ensure we get more experienced players in the door on big money with no sell-on value.

Harry Winks will be promoted to Head of Communications and PR.

Any one else?

I didn’t speak at all in this video as wanted to make sure it was captured so other fans could hear what he had to say (not much), but I think there was a fear that if we said something even slightly too negative he would’ve just walked off, and wanted to make sure we could at least express to him how much he’s ruined this club for the fans. It wasn’t planned out and was a pretty crazy situation we didn’t really expect to be in so I don’t think anyone really knew what to say or do

The really shocking thing on this video was his very unconvincing reply when asked if he will invest in the club going forward...... "I will try" just doesn't cut it.   I agree with some on here, he just doesn't get it at all ... it's like he's talking about a school rounders team losing a couple of games, oh well 🤷

Absolute nothing statement. As others have said, likely written by AI. Decisive actions need to be taken today. To get this club back on track.

We cant afford to drag our feet once more over important decisions that will affect the long term future of this club.

Aiyawatt for once show some strong leadership and backbone otherwise I fear the club won't be here in another 10 years.

No. Because I don’t have a comms background. That’s the problem here. This organisation is going to need to be at the forefront of quite a few key meetings and exchanges and we still want people in who may not have the background.

What the board might need is executive board experience - or at least coaching. That’s where you/ the trust start.

Unfortunately this isn’t really where we need to be but to use the FT phrase - we are where we are.

Fast forward to August:

Rudkin still here

No Manager

No players signed

No players on big wages sold

I have literally no trust in this man doing anything other than going back to play polo in Thailand for the summer.

I know this makes me a really shit fan but the years of mismanagement and utter disdain shown to the fans makes me not even want to see us do well under this fraud. I'm so exhausted from it all

This club won't move forward until he sells, to get promotion we need the fans on side and I can't see how that happens whilst he's still chairman.

If he won't sell then he needs to replace himself with someone not currently connected to King Power and sack Rudkin but I can't see that happening.

The trust is led by its members, the members only recently gave us direction to call out the club.

but respectfully, it’s all well and good coming for me, I can accept the criticism. But where were you? Where was anyone else that could have asked questions?

There was around 100 people at full time, which dwindled to 7 after Ricardo left.

I was at home, I've not been to a game this season after having a season ticket for the 17 seasons prior - just not interested in supporting anything until these charlatans are gone.

I'm not coming for you personally - I'm just saying the questions you asked were, respectfully, awful and not very well communicated - and given you are on the foxes trust board my concern is, is this a reflection of how the trust operates? Who on the board has experience in this kind of thing? Challenging the status quo, asking tough questions without acting star struck would be a start - we have had a lack of leadership for so many years - a terrible comms guy in Anthony, and you had the opportunity to get the boot in on him and didn't. No one was going to get arrested for asking difficult questions??

I'm sure you're a nice chap, but sometimes things are flashed around on social media and you don't get the reaction you wanted. A bad night all round

respectfully, if you are part of the foxes trust board you should be the representing the fans and be the last 7 there.

Only chance ever, in years, and not one mention of John Rudkin, more pandering to Top if anything and just repeating that we need answers, just really soft questions that didn't really require a response

fair play to him for being there and getting a video, but ultimately didn't put the sword to him about all the issues (or any) that we as fans know are the reason why we are in league 1.
