  1. 1. With deadline for season ticket direct debit cancellation next week have people made their decision about renewing yet?

I wonder if, in relation to other threads here regarding fan divide and clappers there will be category of “yes but re-locating”.

I might be able to tolerate watching a young team try to compete in League 1 but not with a running commentary from the Rudkin & KP fan club in my ear.

Cancelled my renewal. I'm not signing up for one until there is a major change that shows that the leaders of the club know what they are doing.

Plus, it's not going to be difficult to get tickets for a few years, so I don't see the need for having a guaranteed ticket anymore.

Are you sure that’s correct? The renewal deadline was the 20th? to make changes to your direct debit for example change the bank account or to cancel and change to pay up front is the 29th

We also want to make supporters aware that the Direct Debit automatic renewal process for applicable Season Ticket Holders will begin from Wednesday 25 March, subject to the relevant terms and conditions, so you may notice some activity on your Direct Debit mandate. The first payment for the 2026/27 season will be taken on Monday 1 June (for 12-month Direct Debits), so the deadline for opting out or making changes to your automatic renewal by Direct Debit is 5pm on Wednesday 29 April.

Yes the automatic renewal of your direct debit, the Season ticket deadline was the 20th of April, the deadline to make any changes to how you pay for the season ticket is 29th of April

Its not very clear surprisingly....I assumed the 20/04 deadline was for people not paying by direct debit as all direct debit automatically renewed anyway was my understanding. says you can opt out of automatic renewal by direct debit by 29/04 so I'd argue that with them. If you give them notice by that date then I'd have thought that would be ok. Not exactly sure what theyd be able to do about it anyway.

I would happily sack it off now but my son is 9, in his 3rd season and has such hopes. Its the magical age for him, conundrum

I would without a doubt renew in your situation. Wish my lad was an unscared 9-year old rather than being old enough to decide we should call it a day.

So sad - last game tonight as a season ticket holder. Just can't bear to watch that shower of overpaid leeches combined with a club that despises its own supporters.

Renewed without a 2nd thought. The football is just a small part of the day. Got so many friends from just going football over the years and it brings us all together for the day. If the football wasn't on I doubt I'd bother going town every other Saturday to see everyone

I have decided to renew as I am getting on a bit but still able to get to  games ok. I also would like to take my grandkids to games, when they are old enough, as my Dad and Grandad did with me and my brother. It's alright for fans to make grand gestures and stop supporting our club for various reasons but being my age I may not be able to go in a few years time anyway. Also my wife and I get our tickets for under £15 a game presently with season tickets so if we just brought tickets on a match to match basis they would cost £25 at this season's prices plus a membership. Some of us have been in it for the long haul and I don't see the purpose of depriving our club of support in the short term as it only makes the financial position worse. We have been here before and I remember getting the winding up papers from the receivers but the club was rescued under new owners and we had the best period in the clubs history afterwards. Here's hoping that history is repeated.

Is your ST still expensive? Mine's increased by £69 at Portman Road to nearly £500.

That's not bad considering you're probably going up.
