Someone needed to get the match thread going now the line up has been released and I've got 3 bottles on wine cooling as we speak.

 

From my pre-match research...

 

1. Denmark - Some Goth bloke.  Miss.
2. Germany - Well worth a look.
3. Israel - Boo
4. Belgium - Carly Rae Jepson tribute
5. Albania - Weird bloke, rock power ballard thing.  Pass
6. Greece - Joke act, very disappointing imqho as they usually deliver
7. Ukraine - Mid, will do well with the war vote
8. Australia - Now we're talking.  The delightful Nina Tucker from Neighbours (aka Delta Goodrem).  Obviously hope they do badly as she's Aus.
9. Serbia - Metal Band, s**t.
10. Malta - Bit like the Swiss bloke who won a few years whilst running on a hamster wheel but nowhere near as camp.
11. Czechoslovakia (proper name) - Basically looks like @Miquel The Work Geordie.  Bin.
12. Bulgaria - Well worth a look.
13. Croatia - Weird female druid band.  Well worth a look.
14. UK - S**t
15. France - Looks nice, usual weird song from them though.
16. Moldova - Weird brother/sister act (not sure if they are)
17. Finland - Meant to be favourite.  Very depressed looking singer next to an agreeable violinist.
18. Poland - No comment as might get me banned.
19. Lithuania - Bald bloke sprayed silver.
20. Sweden - Lovely, wears a hygiene mask for some reason.
21. Cyprus - Well worth a look.
22. Italy - Just a bloke with some dancers around him
23. Norway - Harry Styles wannabe
24. Romania - Lady rocker, well worth a look
25. Austria - Weird s**t

 

Cyprus/Bulgaria my personal favourites followed by Aus.

Can't believe anyone still watches this, just know they wont vote for us the UK because nobody likes us and its all politics at the end of the day. Just my opinion anyway thats all I'm gonna say before I get banned again for stating the truth

Get money on Israel each way. If they don't win they'll finish top three or four minimum if they're as successful regarding influencing the public vote last year as this year. And there's little reason to suspect otherwise.

I’ll be watching for the craic as usual.

 

Probably get behind a genuinely good act again to then get annoyed when they miss out for either political reasons or for something really whacky or, shall I say, overly eccentric.

Always a decent laugh within our household. Bit harder to enjoy the last couple of years with the other stuff though.

I always avoid the semi finals for ultimate surprise on the night.

Actually we watched last nights show and I thought Delta Goodrem was a decent effort. 

 

I tip Ukraine because of the conflict but I have a feeling either Cyprus or Greece can do well. Both catchy with a traditional feel.

Unlike our entry, fvck knows what that's about.
