How hasn’t the linesman helped him out there? Or do they not bother doing that.

Nothing wrong with that first penalty. 

 

He gets a toe on the ball outside the area but then the challenge continues into the box whereby he takes the defenders legs away. Foul and penalty. 

 

You can't wipe someone out and just point to a tiny touch on the ball nowadays. Yes we've seen them not given before but they should have been. I've always been of that opinion. If it's a foul in the middle of the pitch so it's a foul in the box too.

 

I hate this "higher bar" nonsense for giving penalties.

I didn't think it was a penalty but the way people were bleating about it being "the worst decision you'll EVER see" I was expecting some almost cartoon like incompetence before seeing the video
