I'm getting a bit sick of Rangers fans on Facebook queuing up to tell us that they warned us.

This implies that we are morons that didn't realise that Martin was footballing Kryptonite.  As if we are surprised that Martinball doesn't work and as if we appointed the clown.

We know.  We knew before you did.  None of us wanted him.

That’s the Scots for you. They think they are the wise, salt of the earth footballing utopia.

And look at how wholesome they are when they go abroad. Why can’t the English be more like that?

Gary Rowett would have been better suited in this division. Why do we have such an obsession of employing this 'type' of coach. Once that 3rd went im we needed to change the tide. But the stubborness of this manager was clear to see. His reluctness to change is what costs him his job every where he goes.

We had a Martin-out thread before the idiot had managed his first game for us.

I bet he's heard "your getting sacked in the morning" chant more than any other manager  in the history of the game.

He so used to it that it doesn’t phase him whatsoever.

He’s made a career out of being a failure.

I can’t see the Chuckle C*nts sacking Martin. He was endgame for them, the cherry on the cake, the angel on top of the Christmas tree. Who on earth, in their minds, could they employ to play tippy tappy bollocks after the tippy tappy bollocks God has gone? They’ve gone through them all. Nah, we’re stuck with him until we’re sold/administrised so I’d hold onto your hats lads, because we’re hurtling towards footballing hell with him!

It's quite remarkable how Top and Rudkin have managed to be so unaware of Martin's flaws, when he has displayed them in every single job he's had, with no sign of changing or "learning" from his mistakes, for his entire managerial career. Even if they managed to be so completely out of touch with the wider football world where they never take a blind bit of notice of what is going on, at least one of them had to be sat there, in the KP, watching Enzo's Leicester team completely disassemble Brussel's Southampton by easily taking advantage of their blatant weak spots on  the counter attack, yet here we are, years later, and the weakness is still as glaring then as it was back then.

How does Martin still not twig that his managerial style massively exposes his defence, for a former centre back he seems to have zero idea of what a solid defensive block is.

He was probably the much cheaper option but knowing Rudkin & Flop they probably are overpaying his real worth !

And he’s arrogant the interview post Oxford was embarrassing he blamed everyone but himself the bloke Is an Egoist so self righteous he believes everyone is fuching up but himself, he needs to be gone and gone very soon has Flop never learned hanging onto a manager who is taking us down only ends in relegation?

At what point does he think "maybe this is not my thing after all"?

I mean you can't get much lower than being sacked by those incompetent ****s who claim to run our club

This should be the focal point for any future protests - imagine banners, stickers, posters, flags etc with the caption "Get These Jokers Out of Our Club"!

We have not got the players required to play this style of play. He need to realise that intially he need to focus on getting the best out of our squad. Then over multiple windows mold it to the style he want to play.

(Just as a disclaimer that is not the style I want us to play, however how he is implementing it is ridiculous!)

Its such a shame, there were some shoots of positivity after Plymouth, it wasnt the perfect game by any means, but it was a step in the right direction and we are all aware that the turn over of players and culture will take some time.

I know foxestalk (like most fan forums) has a tendency to be a bit dramatic, but I think its fair to say yesterday was a huge red flag and the reaction to it is extremely valid,  good teams in transition lose it happens, but they dont lose like that, at home following a largely positive week. If we had almost any other manager in charge, I think we would still be worried, and we may be more forgiving, but we dont and we have a manager who has had results, performances like this everywhere he has been, theres nothing we can point to in his history that says this is an anomaly that is part of the process, this is what we all were worried about when he was appointed.

For what its worth I thought his interview through the Leicester channel was better than the radio leicester one (it still wasnt good). But you dont have to search hard to find him having the same ones and Southampton and Rangers.

He has to know this is his last chance in football, get next week wrong and hes done, whilst I doubt we will sack him because we like to wait until the situation has gone past being recoverable before we act, he is now fighting for his football managerial career, there isnt an ownership/DOF in world football that will touch him after this, well maybe the guys that run OH Lueven 😅

Sorry long post, I just woke up a bit sad, I was hoping he could prove us all wrong after all it feels like this is it for the club unless we get a buyer, but its looking like its going to play out exactly as we all feared.

Just when you think we have hit rock bottom, Martin finds another level to drop to.

I've had to go out and buy some more polo shirts, because most of mine have some reference to Leicester on them. It's far too embarrassing to wear them at the moment :S
