Yeah. Recent managers have missed huge open goals to score points with the fanbase simply by dropping underperforming dossers. In basically all examples it helps the team as well. 

 

In fact it's been so consistent during our freefall it's fuelled my theory that JR still has a hand in picking the side. There's just no explaination otherwise. Not sure who it was but someone on here said they sat behind the dugout at the Northampton game and Martin was fuming at Thomas within about 15 minutes, and yet the next game who gets the nod? It just beggars belief but that's just life under King Power in general so what else would you expect.

I think Martin will be more interested in scoring points in the league rather than with the fan base. That being said, dropping BDCR, Skipp and Thomas could achieve both of those aims. 🙂

Well yeah, I mentioned the fact that dropping the players mentioned would help the team as well.

He was also yelling at Jakub being too slow too, and then did drop him for his mate.

Maybe macfarlane just isn’t up to fitness yet? He’s a youth player from Man City that I can’t imagine would’ve got many minutes in pre season.

I'm not sure that's the way it works. We'd probably be happy with 10. 11 points after 5 games would be a decent start.

We need an average of over 2 points from every game. So we need to beat Burton.

 

The king power needs to become a place that teams fear, we need to be winning almost every game at home this season, then our away form doesn’t have to be perfect.

 

If the KP becomes a place that our own team are scared to play at we will be in for a terrible season again.

I agree but that’s the bare minimum requirement 2 points a game average, anything less than that is not acceptable.

Well if they are constantly being booed off the pitch it doesn’t exactly instil confidence in a team does it, will just heighten their nerves and make them worry about making mistakes.

 

We need a team that is willing to attempt to make plays and if it doesn’t come off they should have the desire to win the ball back and rectify their errors.

 

We don’t want to be 3 or 4 home games in booing the team every time a stray pass happens.

Two seasons ago we lost 9 consecutive home games without scoring and at the end of the 9th there were still more people clapping than booing.

Blindly clapping or getting behind the players hasn't stopped them showing no passion or desire and shitting down the fans throats with their lacklustre performances

I find interesting how when Pearson’s squad started getting stick, their answer was head down, big summer of effort and give some back to the fans when you deliver ala Drinkwater / Vardy at Middlesbrough.

At the end of the day, you pay your £40 to go watch you can clap, celebrate, moan, boo, shout abuse, cheer do whatever you want.

 

Personally don’t see why you would spend £40 on tickets, plus any food, drink etc if you aren’t going to enjoy your day out.

Pearson obviously a better manager who instilled a better work ethic into the team and better characters around the team.

We haven’t lost a competitive game under Martin yet, so unsure why you’ve said again?

 

But yes, I do still enjoy the day out. Otherwise I wouldn’t go out for the football, I’d find something else to do on my weekend.

 

You have two days off in the week, why waste a day doing something you don’t enjoy.

I was talking more in general terms, given how bad it’s been for three of the last four seasons. 
 

Fair play if you’re still able to enjoy the day, despite the result. I can have a great time prematch, few beers etc but still go home miserable/angry if the result isn’t right, particularly if it’s down to lack of effort and desire. 
 

I should probably find something else to do with my time that doesn’t affect my moods so much, but sadly and despite how bad it gets, I keep coming back for more 🥴

It definitely puts a dampener on the day but at the end of the day, it is just a game of football. Still able to have a good time out with mates, just get a lot more stick from mates who don’t support Leicester.

It would be ideal to be in the premier league still fighting the big 6 for European football, but life isn’t always fair.

 

Definitely easier said than done to take a step away and it is so frustrating seeing the way that we have dropped off, but I have faith we will rise again.
