I sort of think, one of the main benefits or a manager is to instil organisation, and order, and so better defending.  We're not creating or finishing much, whatever he thinks about millions of shots at the opposition BUT if we keep the ball out of our net, the worst result will be 0-0, he's just had 3 weeks to do that.  Thats the back 4 and any defensive midfielders, he has to sort it out, SOON, being proactive and attacking will be irrelevant IF we keep shipping close to 2 goals a game, that means  you need 3 to win, he loves the stats and numbers.

Its a simple calculation.

Surprisingly we didn't concede again Plymouth, though we tried very hard, and surprise surprise, won 2-0
