Wondering if Ravizolli will be 2nd choice ahead of McCarthy, I know the numbers can be irrelevant but I’d like keepers to be numbered 1,21,31,41 in rank order. 

 

And 3 for a CB /clown is wrong, it should be for left backs exclusively.

We've had very few left backs wear number 3 in the last 20 years, and one of those was Ryan McGivern. So its might actually be for the best.

Would have really liked Alves and Braybrooke to have been given more 'first team' numbers.

 

Obviously it doesn't really matter but there's a good chance they're both going to play a lot of games for the club. Would have really liked us to have given Braybrooke the 6 and Alves the 10.

Completely irrelevant, Vieites was number 12 last season iirc. McCarthy will be 1st choice when he's fit i'd imagine

I do think the longer that football has had squad numbers, the less they matter overall.
