These things are fine, but trying to find an evens bet can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. Trying to find a decent evens bet that'd you'd be prepared to stick a ton of money on is like trying to find a tiny hay coloured needle in a giant haystack.

I took that model but used a £5 starting bet only betting once a day at odds of 1.2. After 30 bets you would have just over £9,000.

 

I would say difficult but not impossible at those odds. To put that in to reality those are the odds offered for Man Utd beating Sunderland this weekend at home.

it's having the balls though really. the fact that sometimes 1.2 (1/5) shots lose is grim, but the thought of putting £7,500 on a bet to potentially win just £1,500 is even grimmer imo. 

 

most punters who are only willing to start with a fiver are going to stop once they hit three figures, let alone four or nearly five figure stakes. great idea in theory but in reality not so much.

17 bets from a £20 stake hits £1228 betting at oddds of 1.20. Tempted to have a go at that.

Chelsea -1, Juventus -1 & Barcelona -1, £10 returns £74. That's class value. Only one I'm not very confident in is Barcelona away at Celta Vigo but the other two are playing Walsall away and Frosinone at home. I've had a fiver on all three to win to cover it, that would return £12.50.
