Thracian Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 Now 57 I've been a City fan for 49 years (Arthur Rowley's last season). Married 40 years this September with three great sons. Am currently editor of the Vitalfootball Leicester City website but consider this to be my spiritual "home" and would really like to write for someone like Greenpeace or Friends of the Earth but, sadly, do not have a science degree so I doubt they'd have me. Have enjoyed a colourful life but am as eager as ever for the next challenge. My ambition is to be a benefactor or to write something or for someone towards the greater good.

Jordan Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 Basic: I'm Jordan. I'm 23 years old and live in the suburbs north of NYC. I have a twin brother. I was born on New Year's Day in 1983 and I love my birthday. I think I'm more emotional than most people and I get really excited often. I often gesituclate when speaking. Appearance: I'm 5'11 and thin with brown hair and green eyes. I decided a few months ago to let my hair grow shaggy--right now, the front goes down to the top of my eyes if I pull it and the sides and back are feathery and flip out. I don't know what I'm gonna do about that. No identifying marks except for two temporary bite marks on both sides of my neck. Some girl last night decided that it would be fun to constantly try to kiss my neck and jam her fvcking teeth into it Dracula-style. I don't know how I let that happen. My neck is still sore. I don't know your name, she-biter, but if you're reading this thread, please don't chew on my neck again. Thanks in advance. Occupation: I'm an optical lab technician and even wear a lab coat at work. I'm glad that my job sounds far more glamorous than it is because it makes a great conversation piece. It is a fun job if the lab is well-staffed with good leadership, but right now, we're understaffed with no leadership, ergo it's not fun. I do feel, unfortunately, that I am overworked and underpaid. I was supposed to get my second raise and promotion last September and this pisses me off. When I finally finish my degrees and certifications, I'm going to be a teacher (whenever that happens) Miscellaneous: I listen to music all of the time--hours and hours a day. I listen to music on my way to and from work, and we've also got a stereo in my lab so I listen to music there, too. Mostly new indie, old punk, roots/dub reggae. I'm a huge sports fan, and right now I'm in ice hockey mode. I'm ecstatic about the New York Rangers' recent good fortunes. I've got tickets for their first home game after the Olympics break on March 6. Baseball's spring training has stareted and I'm happy about that, too. I enjoy going out to bars and getting drunk every now and then (once or twice a week). The bartenders love my brother and I and let us party like rock stars. I was drinking in one of my locals last night at 5 a.m., an hour after closing time (they even had the lights off and doors locked to appear closed, very nice). I stay out late, but I don't get out of hand. I can say with reasonable assurance that I follow news and current events closer than most Americans. I dislike extravagant luxury, designer fashion, racism, classism (new word), the Boston Red Sox, shrimp and Coca-Cola (on different levels, though). I've supported Leicester City since 1998. I like girls who have a clever sense of style. Sometimes I can talk one's ears off, as you can probably tell by reading this lost post.

shen Posted 26 February 2006 Posted 26 February 2006 Name's Adrian and I'm 21. I'm half German, half Danish and was born and raised in Brussels. I went to the European School in Uccle and got my baccaleaureate there. I subsequently moved to Slagelse, Denmark to go to a sports college for 4 months and then moved in with my cousin in Copenhagen. Had a stint studying Informatics and Programming at Copenhagen University, but dropped out as I found out it wasn't something for me. Am now halfway through my first year studying Geography&Geoinformatics at University, and recently found a girlfriend there too. I'm 180cm tall (I think that translates to about 5 ft 10) with short curly blond hair and a normal build. I love all kinds of sports and games, to a point where it's not unreasonable to call me an addict. I've played football, tennis and badminton but at the moment I'm focusing on the studies. I like languages and am fortunate enough to speak 5 languages fluently thanks to my time in Belgium. I consider myself Danish first and foremost because I was in a Danish class during my time at school. It was a bit random that I became a Leicester supporter back in 1997 but they're a part of me now, and I guess I'm branded for life My dad was responsible for my music education which has resulted in me being a big rock fan, leaning towards progressive rock. While I'm open to any kind of music, I'm also very critical especially of anything mainstream. I've not had much work experience yet, only as a waiter and as an office secretary of sorts. I expect to travel and work abroad once I've finished my studies.

Frenzied Posted 27 February 2006 Posted 27 February 2006 I'm Michael, 30 and I live in London, working in the City as a financial journalist. I've supported Leicester since my first game aged four - can't remember who it was against but I sat in the double decker. Favourite all time player is Gary Lineker. I love football, obviously, and play on a weekly basis at centre-back (converted midfielder due to age and no pace anymore). I have a girlfriend of three years and two cats. Oh am I'm 6'1".
