I've got a few John Grishams for the Kindle. Looking forward to seeing if he's as good as the hype.

My older brother likes him. Think he was a lawyer which helps when writing courtroom books.

Think it was him who did the Runaway Jury? That was a great read.

I'll be reading Against Apion by Flavius Josephus tonight. Then onto some Manetho.

Will hopefully get a copy of Ginzberg - Legends of the Jews to top it off later this week. If so, what a week.

High Five.

Found out about a bloke called Gregory of Nyssa yesterday. Started reading a book, or work of his called 'On the Making of Man'. It's that Theology malarkey.

Incredible piece of work from around the mid 300's I think. Fascinating read.

Just about to start The Firm by John Grisham. It'll be the first time I've ever read a book after I've seen the film. Not sure if I'll be able to stick with it when I know how it ends.

Theodore Boone?

The Remorseful Day

I've got all his books. A mate of mine downloads them for me. I'm trying to read them in chronological order.

I had that recommended to me a while back. Didn't really rate it personally.

Anyone read The 100 year old man who jumped out the window? Half-way through currently. V enjoyable

He is, I'd never heard of him before. I don't really know anything about all that saint stuff, not even quite sure what being a saint entails tbh!

Well nothing really. It's mostly posthumous clap trap.

Never really started it. Took it back to the library. There is some in-training sessions with the job so will learn as I go along.

About a quarter of the way through this:

Very enjoyable so far, it's a debut novel it has been quite well received from the reviews I've read, winner of Waterstones 11, very favourably compared to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, and Kurt Vonnegurt.

Aye, I've just had a quick read about what it is, and they are named as a 'saint' sometime after they've died. After reading some of his book I'd say he was worthy of some credit! Wish I'd have heard of his work years ago.

This Bloody Mary is the last thing I own.

In my opinion the greatest sporting book ever written.

Inspired by this I am now reading more Kurt Vonnegut, about to start on Sirens of Titan, and got Breakfast of Champions ordered.

If anyone is looking to read some Kurt, start with Slaughter House 5 and then work your way through.
