Just finished The Fry Chronicles. The second part of Stephen Fry's autobiography. He's pretty frank and honest about what he reveals but a good read.  He has a way with words which makes the book an interesting read. This one deals with his university days and the first few years to fame and ends with his first snort of coke.

I saw his first book in a charity shop which is his early years may see if they still have it. Left the book at my sister's for my brother.

Afraid I don't. I have a kindle APP on a tablet and laptop but  don't know if I can load mon-Amazon files on them or how to do it. Was trying to read something on the train from the APP but kept losing it. Thought  you didnt have to be connected to the Wi-Fi and couldnt connect to virgin trains one. The signal bar looked OK but kept getting a fail notice.

You can only connect to the wifi on a train if you are in first class.

Any decent 2nd hand bookshops in Leicester? After Under the Dome by Stephen King so shouldn't be too difficult to find but they seem more and more scarce up town.

Loros 2nd hand bookshop on Queens Road (far side of Victoria Park) is excellent. If you don't find that book, I'm sure you'll find something else you want. Pretty good for second hand music, too.

You may have a Kindle email address, look in the app settings or 'manage you're Kindle' after signing in on the website for Amazon. You can then email documents, pdfs and battenburg books direct to the Kindle and it should appear there automatically or after checking for new items/syncing.

I'm going through my three remaining, still unread copies of Little White Lies dating from October through January.

It's a great bi-monthly read for any film aficionado. It may appear a little thin at first, but it's packed with info. Plus, the layout inside changes with each issue.

I love you. I've got a subscription. The art direction is amazing. The Shame Issue with Michael Fassbender's face made of old torn-out porn magazines is fantastic.

Just finishing off the Oryx and Crake trilogy by Margaret Atwood, the first one was fantastic, but it has kind of tailed off, it started off as a big end of the world dystopian not too distant future and the causes that lead to it and ended up being a spat between the survivors and a few baddies and a prolonged love story. Not bad by any means, just a dissapointing end to what was a great opening book.
