Rezzies Tonight Vs Charlton

Second String Secure Point At Valley

An Elvis Hammond goal secured a draw for Leicester City at Charlton Athletic in the Premier Reserve League South fixture on Monday night.

The Foxes sent a side to The Valley containing a number of familiar faces from the first team squad.

And although City went down to an early goal from Charlton forward Myles Weston, they would redress the balance through Elvis Hammond before the break.

And that is how the game would finish - with first teamers Lee Morris, Alan Sheehan, Joe Hamill and club captain Danny Tiatto all getting some much needed match minutes under their belts on the night.

City now face Ipswich Town in their penultimate fixture of the campaign at the Belvoir Drive training ground on Tuesday, April 18 (2pm).

Leicester: Logan, Smedley, Sheehan (Wykes 62), Tiatto (King 46), Lycett, Norvall, Porter (Tejan-Sie 62), Dodds, Hammond, Morris, Hamill.

Subs not used: Pentley, Magunda.

Charlton: Randolph, Youga, Brandao (Basey 40), Wright, Fortune, Ricketts, Gislason (Springer 82), Phillips, Walker, Varney, Weston.

Subs not used: Tanska, Woolley, Thomas.

Tiatto, Porter and Sheehan all subbed off by the hour.

Not fully fit? Played crap? To be involved agaist Preston?

Probably all three in Tiatto's case.

I could see Sheehan making an appearance on the bench against Preston since we're likely to put Gerrbrand into defence. Tiatto's hamstring probably gave up again. Perhaps Porter could be a sub for Preson - in place of Sylla (Porter is a winger, isn't he?)
