Micky Singh Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 I want these players out with 1st being most wanted out 1st Sylla (never done nothing - just a lasy git) 2nd Maybury (so slow, got no brain and simply ****) 3rd Hamill (we got better youth players than him, we could use the little money we get for him) 4th De Vries (pass the dutch - somewhere the hell outaa ereeeeeeee) 5th Douglas ( what a joke) 6th Tiatto (great commitment, just can never tackle without getting booked) 7th Hammand ( got pace, makes runs, get in space, but errrrrrrrrrrr never can finish)
holly Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 hmmmmm De vries Tiatto Douglas (get logan as number 2, or even Number 1) Hamill think thats it!!!
Jamesino_LCFC Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Rab Douglas - If you watched City under Levein then you'll know what I'm talking about. Just simply an awful keeper, VERY unreliable, and he is an ex Scottish international - explains itself Momo Sylla - Has good skill and looks good but never seems committed, seems very lazy sometimes and slow when he shouldnt be. A true disapointment it must be said. Mark DeVries - I never truly disliked this guy like a lot of you did, but, like many of Levein's players from Scotland, they just arnt good enough. It was rumoured also that he was being a right little rowdy sod when Kelly came in. Tiatto - In the past I have really liked this chap, as he was committed and wasnt too shabby on the ball. Off the ball however he loses his head and he looks frightening, even before he takes your legs out and gets himself a yellow/red card. Time to go Dan. Thats about it however I do believe that there needs to be more additions to the squad, not only to cover these absences but to also give us a stronger squad.
Dr The Singh Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 No particular order: Hammill De Vries Tiatto Henderson Douglas Sylla Hammond But realistically i can't see more then 3 of em leaving: Sylla Tiatto De Vries
Durnerz Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Have some people just forgotton that we have signed Rab Douglas on the 3 year deal? No Club in their right mind would pay us cash for him and paying off his contract should we release him would leave the club in a mess as we have to watch our budget this year. Tiatto for me is a definate to leave, when hes not injured hes getting yellows and reds and when hes not doing that hes putting in poor performances. Sylla hopefully will go but like Douglas, didnt Levein sign him on a long term deal? Hopefully De Vries will be off if Heerenveen are stupid enough to pay out for him. Alan Maybury is a decent squad player, personally i'd keep him in. I think it'll be virtually the same side still here next season with maybe one or two free's here and there. After the past few summers of virtually getting a whole new squad its about time we kept it a bit more settled.

Sir Fynwy Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 I think we've got to consider who the club will decide they can sell, I think that Stearman is the most saleable player we've got at the moment, if a big bid does come in he could be off because we have plenty of centre backs at the club (some people seem to have forgotten that he is only playing at right back because he needs to get stronger). I'm not recommending that we sell him just pointing out that he is a player that could be sold to balance the books.
Unit Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 I like tiatto, he reminds me of the Leicester/England captain on Mike Basset, Whacko, he's just a mental that likes getting sent off. As for the rest, get rid of de vries!!
dandannieldanok Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Sylla - Too lightwight, looks deprived of food Hamill - Never good enough Hughes - Slow, lacks to competitiveness as this level De Vries - Just crap Tiatto - Disappointing when came of bench on Saturday, lacked the aggression that if you take away from his game there is not much left Douglas - Surplus to requirements Maybury - Won't be too disappointed if he is here next season but is too slow and not a great full-back or right midfielder
The People's Hero Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 I think Maybury might be worth keeping hold of. Having said that I've only watched 3 games this season. Still, I don't talk as much shit as most.
martyn Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Maybury is worth keeping up until christmas, but if he doesn't buck his ideas up he should be ouut of the door.
Guest Gist Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 I think the following should go: De Vries Sylla Hammil Tiatto Although I can't see any of them leaving apart from possibly Hammil. Those saying Hammond I think that he is a good squad player and could be useful at times and I don't think if he was to go we would get much for him or save that much money.
Cobbo Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 People saying get rid of Hughes and Maybury - kinell They aren't that bad and can have some great games! If they get their consistency up they'll be assets. We aint got much dosh remember so keeping hold of some players would be handy.

Jay Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 How when Levein signed Douglas on a 3 year deal? and i'm sure Sylla got the same. exactly you can offer them on a free transfer if you want but the player is still entitled to the rest of his contract!! and probably a few bonus / default payments as well
potter3 Posted 24 April 2006 Posted 24 April 2006 Hamill - Shocking De Vries - Duh! Tiatto - To dirty, to old to get money though Douglas - If Logans good enough Sylla - If he puts a lot more effort in he could be actually quite decent ...well maybe any ive missed?
lookwhaticando Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 Hamill - Shocking De Vries - Duh! Tiatto - To dirty, to old to get money though Douglas - If Logans good enough Sylla - If he puts a lot more effort in he could be actually quite decent ...well maybe any ive missed? Those are the obvious 5 to ship out. Hammil simply isn't good enough, he should be the first to go. Although who in their right minds would pay for that donkey is beyond me. Let's hope Levein takes over at Dunfirmline in time for the summer transfer window Ditto for Sylla - he has some tricks but he's completely useless to the team. Must go. De Vries is hopefully on his way back to Holland permanently. Scored a few vital goals - just nowhere near enough of them to take us forward. Tiatto and Douglas may stay - Kelly seems to want to keep Tiatto, but if he doesn't accept the big wage cut he'll be let go. Douglas may end up staying because we can't find a buyer for him.
Master Fox Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 I still cannot believe we paid £250,000 for Elvis! Levein is a complete nob for thinking this guy was worth that amount of money. I think he was more of a panic buy because we had him on trial and he was obliviously not good enough but he still went and bought him!
teblin Posted 25 April 2006 Posted 25 April 2006 I'm suprised no one has said williams! I personally like him, but someone usually has a dig. I'd get rid of Hamill, Hammond, Douglas, De Vries. I can see why people have said hughes but i don't think he is quite fully fit give him a pre season as he didn't get one this season. But the lad has ability.
Ric Flair Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 exactly you can offer them on a free transfer if you want but the player is still entitled to the rest of his contract!! and probably a few bonus / default payments as well Not neccessarily. If the club said that Douglas is free to leave and won't be asking for a fee then Douglas has three options. He either stays put and sits on the bench picking up his wages for three years or he finds another club and if they offer him an acceptable offer then he takes it as he'll get the chance to play football. Or the third option which is most likely to happen is that he's allowed to leave and the club will come to an agreement with the club that's signing him (probably a second rate SPL team) that Leicester will pay a proportion of his wages whilst they pay the rest. Just because you grant a player a free transfer doesn't mean you have to pay them off their contract, it just means another club can sign him without paying a transfer fee but it's all down to what the player wants really.
Chimp Posted 26 April 2006 Posted 26 April 2006 People saying get rid of Hughes and Maybury - kinell They aren't that bad and can have some great games! If they get their consistency up they'll be assets. We aint got much dosh remember so keeping hold of some players would be handy. I've got to agree. Everyone seems to be forgetting that both Hughes and Maybury have been played out of position for the majority of the season, yet, have still managed to put in some more than adequate performances. Maybury is a solid right-back and Hughes, when played in central midfield, has proved to be a valuable asset. In regard to Tiatto, I'm unsure. I've never been a fan but if he performs as well as he has done in the last couple of appearences then I can see the reasons why RK may want to keep him. That said, he's a bit of a risk. Prior to Xmas, Williams would have been on my list to be booted out the door, but, given that he seems to have come out his shell and has played with more confidence and commitment recently I hope he stays with us and continues to improve. Those who I'd like to see go are: Sylla - had enough chances to prove himself Hammil - needs to drop down a division to develop his confidence and strength De Vries - even when fit never seemed adequate for the role he needed to play Hammond - don't really want him to go but his absence will mean more chances for the academy lads
