dandannieldanok Posted 24 May 2006 Posted 24 May 2006 has it even been comfirmed he's been released? yeah, don't have a link but he has definitely gone
The People's Hero Posted 24 May 2006 Posted 24 May 2006 has anyone heard the latest on izzet, whether he is in talks with clubs or offering himself to clubs like other released players OI! DAN! Nooooooooo! Took me and NW a fair few posts to steer this 'going nowhere' thread on to the subject of old players who might or might not have existed at some point. Let it be mate, let it be. IAN MARSHALL.
Knighton Matt Posted 24 May 2006 Posted 24 May 2006 OI! DAN! Nooooooooo! I reckon David Lowe would have Marshall in a dust up.
Lets Be having You Posted 24 May 2006 Posted 24 May 2006 ok guys why would we want him back, pay per view,is days are gone ,get a life and move on,you lot will be asking for bloody Mike gibson next, its over dead, gon, finnished
The People's Hero Posted 24 May 2006 Posted 24 May 2006 I reckon David Lowe would have Marshall in a dust up. Marshall's got a staunch ally and fight-fanatic hidden up the sleeve (of his cloak) in the form of Eddie Youds. I'd fear for David Lowe, even if he could rope in Franz Carr for a bit of moral support.
Ric Flair Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 ok guys why would we want him back, pay per view,is days are gone ,get a life and move on,you lot will be asking for bloody Mike gibson next, its over dead, gon, finnished Alot of people thought Robbie Fowler's days were gone and he's been very effective in his second spell at Liverpool at a far higher level than we are playing at. If Izzet's knee is ruined then obviously we wouldn't want him, but if there's a good chance he can carry on playing then why wouldn't we want him if the deal was right? He's 31 and has been injured for a season, it's not as if he's much older or he's had massive injury problems all his career. Fair enough it might only take one injury to finish a footballers career but that's down for the physio and doctors to decide, if he's ok to continue and Brum want to get rid of him then we wouldn't be able to get a better midfielder than Muzzy Izzet. He'd strengthen our team and bring more fans through the turnstiles, you name me a player that could to that for us that wouldn't cost us much within reason.
Katy Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 I reckon David Lowe would have Marshall in a dust up. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE I remember when he broke his cheekbone in a pre season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach. The crack was sickening, I wonder what he's up to now......
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 EEEEEEEEEEEEEE I remember when he broke his cheekbone in a pre season friendly against Borussia Monchengladbach. The crack was sickening, I wonder what he's up to now...... Ask him what he is doing via e-mail

surrifox Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 As in "I love the sound of breaking glass" Nick Lowe? Johnny Cash's son-in-law ( not a large number of people know that)
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 Johnny Cash's son-in-law ( not a large number of people know that) I did not, certainly did not - was he Mitchells Brother
Katy Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 As in "I love the sound of breaking glass" Nick Lowe? Random! It could well be him actually because his name was mentioned in lots of people favourites that came up.
Louise Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 Alot of people thought Robbie Fowler's days were gone and he's been very effective in his second spell at Liverpool at a far higher level than we are playing at. Think of Seth Johnson for Derby as well... Released by Leeds after massive injury problems, returned to Derby on pay-as-you-play, half way through the season was given a proper contract on merit and was one of their players of the season. *dreams*
Lets Be having You Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 Who's Mike Gibson, the gardener, the cook, the cleaner and why the hell would we want him back? You must be noob to city, he was one of our great midfields even better than muzzy
IDEA OR IKEA Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 You must be noob to city, he was one of our great midfields even better than muzzy Did he score with a chip in from 43 yards like the favourte did though?
davieG Posted 25 May 2006 Posted 25 May 2006 You must be noob to city, he was one of our great midfields even better than muzzy You must be a double noob unless you can prove it!!!
