Once the World Cup is over that's it, you watched 7 games they've won it's great! But if you’re watching Leicester play week in week out to me seeing them win something would give me greater satisfaction! England is England, if we lose no other fans give you stick, but getting one over you friends, work colleagues, rival fans every week is so much more satisfying! I can’t relate to watching England like I can going to see LCFC!

Yeah, obviously i'd rather Leicester succeed more if i had to make a choice, but i'm just saying, we still harp back to 1966 whenever the World Cup comes around, so it's not that short lived.

If England won the World Cup then the whole country would be having a party almost and it would be one hell of a binge drinkathon, we would never have witnessed anything like it before.

This is true, and I for one would also indulge in some hardcore partying if England won the World cup. But if Leicester were promoted next season you would enjoy every single match of the season, then throughout the summer you'll be looking forward to watching Leicester back in Prem! So I my mind the enjoyment would be greater because you would feel much more part of Leicester's success than you ever will supporting England!

But if I was pushed I'd say England, reasons: I've seen LCFC promoted 6/7 times and England win the World Cup once. The World Cup being every four years means the number of times I'm likely to see it is disapearing fast

Nationwider Posted 26 May 2006 Posted 26 May 2006 Club before country for me, always. I'd love to see City win a league. They haven't done that since I've followed them, despite the three promotions. I'll be cheering on England, but they're just another footy team that aren't Leicester at the end of the day. Anyway, the hope of England winning anything virtually propels our entire econony at times. What will people do when they finally do win it again?

Having said that how good would the WHOLE of England feel if we actually won the fecking thing? You know how it was in Leicester when we say, won the play off finals or when we wont he Wortho cup? Imagine that throughout the Country? It's something I would love to experience in my sad little life
