macbeth Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 What a fantastic hammer by Joe Cole!!! WOW!!! brilliant
macbeth Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 i still want to lam sven <_< we are gonna win the cup despite him not because of him
Thracian Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Joe Cole continues to be our outstanding player and his volley was one of the all time great World Cup goals. As for Owen, I wouldn't have taken him and the nievity of doing so was there to be seen. Our squad has been left exposed and for no good reason. Selection by sentiment instead of sense.

MC Prussian Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 My prediction was... what again? Beckham doesn't guard Allback well enough, and Ashley Cole is not tall enough to get it out.
stez Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 My prediction was... what again? dandannieldanok Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Come on Crouchy another great performance, totally outshining mardy Rooney!
Daggers Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 That second half was fuc k ing dreadful. I am pushed to remember a 45 minutes where England have EVER seemed so fuc k ing clueless. Well done Stevie G, Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves. The rest of the c*u*n*t*s on the park deserve a fuc k ing slap. I have NEVER been this angry with a performance. As Paul Calf says "Bag Of Shite!"
Phube Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 I'm so glad he took Walcott to help us out with the striking problems we're having!!
martyn Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 To be honest it was only set pieces where the panic set in, Sweden never looked like creating anything in open play. Still it was a poor 2nd half and only Joe Cole and Owen Hargreaves can come out with much credit.
Libertine Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 That's why you should have taken 5 strikers Svennis.
Ricey Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Grrrrrr. Why the ****ing hell did he put Crouch upfront on his own at a time in the game when we needed to attack!!! He should of brought on Lennon or Walcott so we could kill them off. He winds me up so much!
samingram_uk Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 what the hell did i just witness. apart from going through of corse.
Thracian Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Not impressed tactically or collectively. England seem to have as many Chosen Men as Leicester. Only Joe Cole, Peter Crouch, Paul Gerrard and Owen Hargreaves, to a lesser extent, emerged from that shambles with any credit (sorry Martyn, just read your similar comment). And we won the group!. Which will encourage even more of the same predictable and uninspiring rubbish.
Thracian Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 there is how long left? plus england are under a bit of pressure at the moment i didn't even know sol campbell was there!!!!!!!!!!! He wasn't when it mattered.
MC Prussian Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Should Ecuador play the same way they did today against Germany, you don't have a lot to fear... Lucky England. Say thanks to Gerrard for scraping that one ball off the line and kudos to Robinson for that great save in the 2nd, allowing the ball to bounce off the crossbar.

They rested five today - we rested almost everyone on the pitch!
Guest Gist Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 What is it with us not beating Sweden? Very sloppy defending I really thought it was going to be our night when Gerrard scored but no the record goes on.
loz Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Ecuador rested 5 players so they will play alot better than they did today. and if anyone can explain why walcott is there then please tell me??!! so far he is just being a wasted spot on the team
