Ric Flair Posted 20 June 2006 Posted 20 June 2006 Let's get it on early!!!! Fed up of all this talk and hype about Rooney. We all know he's good, but do we really need 24/7 of it? Let's talk about him when he's been on the pitch not the antisipation of him getting on it in the first place! Not sure how things will go tonight, we have a better team than them on paper but we've struggled so far performance wise. I'd like to see us take the game by the scruff of the neck and play with some panache.

We jsut need to make sure we defend well, whcih I beleive we are capable of. I'm going to go for 2-0 Rooney, lampard

Don't be an idiot... of course nobody expects us to suddenly be the best team ever and win 25-0 because he is back. What we do expect from England is a good performance as we have too many good players to put in another poor performance. Having Rooney back can only help us do that as his talents are without doubt greater than Crouchs.

I'm with you MF ... but I am slightly troubled at your pessimistic forecast. I'd go up a bit to 26-0 with three Swedes sent off and the Queen to give head to the team at half time in the centre circle. Yea! More flags all round

I'd love sheep to invade the pitch while female Brazilian fans get their funbags out and clowns breath fire - that's what I can't see happening. Does anyone else have any other unlikely scenarios that they have problems envisaging? Maybe we could run a support thread somewhere?
