It looked like Kuhn and Blochin wanted to prove each other what great tacticians they are, boring everybody else to death. Blochin: "Look, I can neutralize you better." Kuhn: "Ha, take a look at my great 4-4-1-1 formation." Blochin: "I'm better than you." Kuhn:"Try." Blochin: "Nanananaaaanaaaa...." Replacing Frei with Lustrinelli 4 minutes before the end of the game doesn't make much sense to me, one of the best strikers out for the penalty shootout. I honestly fell off my chair when Streller missed his peno. Just couldn't believe it, not after Shevchenko had already failed. A bitter out, but somehow had to be. Piss-poor display over 120 minutes.

Me either, Alex Frei himself didnt seem to quite understand the descion as well. Which shows he was up for takeing one. Had he been on the pitch after Sheva's pen miss to tuck the first Swiss penalty it could of been a completley differnt shoot out.
