Given the fact that he wasn't ever going to play again, I wonder why he didn't just go back and knee-cap him after the red card, just to make sure he understood? When Sven picked Theo, I said that there was a thin line between genius and madness and Sven was treading that line. Well, that was b*llocks as Sven turned out to just be a chump. But Zidane... Probably the best footballer of his generation, and properly cuckoo with it too! A pity it all ended like that. Cannavaro or Klose maybe should have won the Golden Egg.

Heading someone in the tummy is the stupidest fukcing thing I've seen on a pitch. It's not an assault, it's not petulance - it's just plain dumb. It's as if he didn't want to do something too naughty - well, don't bother then. As I've said before, a great player that will forever be know for one thing - and that reduces him to the level of 'prat'.

I, for one, would not have reacted in such a pathetic manner to a simple verbal insult - and I find it ridiculous that anyone could ever consider doing so. If you find it hard to go through life without resorting to violence every and any time someone says something you don't agree with then you really are not going to get very far are you? If Zidane gave a fukc about his poorly mother then he would have lifted the trophy on her behalf, don't you think that would have been better?
