Milan Mandaric has targeted leicester!

The Daily Express said that Mandaric hopes to be in control by midweek. So if what you say is also true, then..

:banana::scarf::banana:

I assure you that's what was said to those who hob-nob up there. I was there as me uncle sponsors a player and offered me a freebee! Birch said it! Taylor confirmed Milan was at the game. Porter was man of the match also and my jammy dad predicted the score and won a shitty coaster (even Birch agreed it was shit!).

But RL (with FT and Jon Sinclair) before the game were saying that the earliest the bid is expected is the 12th, and probably unlikely to be circulated before the 15th.

Middle of next week looks complete bollux.

Thats the most amazing thing i've heard in years.......... :|

Yes Milan was at the game today...i spotted him leave the ground whilst i was waiting for Fulham autographs.

Whilst he signed my team sheet, i said to him i couldn't wait to watch City play teams like Fulham on a regular basis!!

Sorry, for the second post! New member here! Definantly spoke to him. He was giving a interview to someone by the players cars about an hour after the game. He gave a little chuckle after i said it would be good to play teams like Fulham on a regular basis before he got chauffeured away from the ground.

Seemed like a friendly and approachable man.

A FINAL bid isn't expected until late next week at the earliest - according to Ian Bason of the Foxes Trust who we interviewed for foxpodder this week.

GUYS!

Nothing has been signed and sealed! I know it's exciting, but just wait until it's fully confirmed.

What're the odds at the bookies?

Im willing to put 50 quid on it.

I bet they're not even taking offers. It's virtually a done deal...

Quite a shame that nobody really cares (media) about the takeover.

Which bit of the media? Local or national?

I'm not having a pop - I just don't understand what you mean by that. :)

Obviously the local media would have a bit more on the story. The national media probably don't even know about it. You only get the rubbish in the Rumour section of newspapers and teletext.

When it's a done deal they'll be more interested.

I think that's probably right.

If you're not in the Premiership, you're not worth talking about. If and when Mandy gets in, I'm sure he's got a fair few journos in his back pocket that will hype him up.

A good friend of mine is a major sports writer for one of the Nationals and I can assure you they are all keeping a keen eye on developments regarding the takeover.

Once there is something concrete to report I'm sure it will be big news.

I think its quite obvious that that is the case. Thats basically my point, that nobody cares to look at lower-league gossip/news etc.

Spoke to tim davies yesterday in the 1884 bar.

Asked him if the deal would go through he said yes.

Asked him about new players and him said "maybe" but gave a smile that meant yes!

...said "maybe" but gave a smile that meant yes!

You can't be married; my wife does that a lot ~ it certainly doesn't mean 'yes'.

'Yes' means 'yes'. :D

Yep.."maybe" means definately not..would have been more positive if he'd said "not a chance in hell"
