Swedging Posted 17 October 2006 Posted 17 October 2006 Value of the squad £4.3m. Yes I bet they'd sell em all for that. That's as much a fairy tale as Cinderella. Someone's going to have a f.....g good day at £4.3m. I like a deal but it'd be bloody hard to find one as good as that!!!!!! I suspect it's just some feckwit journalist translating player salaries into values.
Ric Flair Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 Value of the squad £4.3m. Yes I bet they'd sell em all for that. That's as much a fairy tale as Cinderella. But let's see how that works out: Kisnorbo £2m Stearman £1m Fryatt £1m Hume £750.000 McCarthy free, Sheehan free McAuley free Maybury free Hughes free Williams free Wesolowski free O'Grady free Hammond free Dodds free Gradel free King free Logan free Porter free And are City going to give: Chambers free Odhiambo free Mattock free McKay free etc, etc, etc. Someone's going to have a f.....g good day at £4.3m. I like a deal but it'd be bloody hard to find one as good as that!!!!!! The value of the squad won't be what they are worth but what they paid for them and their wages, etc. How do you value a squad realistically and accurately?
Fox in a Box Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 I'd still sit on Uncle Milan's knee. how long for?
Finnegan Posted 18 October 2006 Posted 18 October 2006 However long he could keep it up. I mean, er, 'her' up. 'Her' up there... up there on his knee.... ...

gatesheadfox Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 even if milan does want to buy leicester i cant see it being soon (unfortunately). he'd be a very stupid business man to buy into a club not knowing what he was getting from it
Magic No. 8 Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 Personally I predict a very happy christmas.
Daggers Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 even if milan does want to buy leicester... He's buggered now, should've got moving before we started our prolific run of wins that must have (surely?) quadrupled our value (at least). I wouldn't be surprised if he now has to take out a loan of Man United proportions just to buy out the club. We are a winning team now, just like a Big Mac and large fries...and winning teams don't come cheap, (apart from when they come in a special meal deal with a large Coke). Oh yes, Mandaric will have lots of ketchup on his face now, and not your own brand ketchup, no, this will be the genuine satchets of Heinz ketchup that will have exploded in his lap. How do you like the taste of them apples Milan?! We aren't a Filet of Fish you know, you can't stand around for hours waiting for us to be served up to you by some spotty 16 year old. Oh no. Maybe you should go to Subway instead.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 Got to be Subway every time. Milan chooses Subway!
Daggers Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 I have just enjoyed a pre-packed sandwich of the Ploughmans variety in the smokey Union bar. It was a delightful little number with some cheeky lettuce and a sousance of pickle. The robust dish was topped off by the addition of some slivers of tomato, that held the hint of a crisp summer morning. I wonder what Milan had for lunch?

LOVELY SHEEP WITH GRAVY ON, DREAMING ABOUT HOW HE WILL TURN CITY INTO THE BEST IN EUROPE! Or maybe MM pork pie with a hint of stilton. Just a suggestion.
Ric Flair Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 Got to be Subway every time. Milan chooses Subway! Milan loves the foot long Italian Meatballs with Cheese. Impeccible taste Mr Mandaric!!

Daggers Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 I think he probably had a plateful of paper money salad, washed down with a liquid portfolio and some chocolate coins for pudding. Trouble is, meals like this always go straight to his assets. *getting coat, leaving forum*
Fox in a Box Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 Lee Morris likes Subway!? But he always has a stinker!
FNQ Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 Fly The Flag! Anyone have any idea where I can get a Serbia flag before Saturday?
Hullfox Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 Fly The Flag! Anyone have any idea where I can get a Serbia flag before Saturday? Yeah, Serbia. Don't rush back.
Solihullfox Posted 19 October 2006 Posted 19 October 2006 Let's hope Milan looks through the Sunday papers and takes note of our attendance against Palace. Hopefully it will remind him of the potential of Leicester City and persuade him to invest his spondoolicks in our club. And Milan is basically east european (ish) and fast food to them is a cockroach.
