Try Dances With Wolves, Appaloosa, Open Range, Wyatt Earp, Tombstone and both Young Guns films. All really great. (Young Guns movies are a tad historically inaccurate though).

Aaaaand you have to watch the best two:

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly

Butch Cassidy and the Sundancce Kid

:thumbup: I'll look out for them, got plenty of other 'classics' I want to see as well though.

A few more western type films worth a watch are :

Blazing Saddles - comedy western

Unforgiven - Clint, Gene and Morgan

And those two Jackie Chan ones are funny but can't remember what they are called.

There's another one I love aswell but canna remember what it is!

I've not seen either of them yet, gonna get them tomorrow. Never even heard of the Coward Robert Ford one, looks good. When I read that title I thought 'that canna be a real film name'!

State of Play

Have this to watch over the weekend. Hope it's half decent.

I quite enjoyed it.

Watched Scream 4 last night, standard fare, Neve Campbell, Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere all in the same film, actually Campbell is pretty average but I think my judgment is clouded by Wild Things.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford stars Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck.

I couldn't get into that one, but may have to give it another try i reckon.

Watched The French Connection last night for the first time. Enjoyed it but didn't expect that ending.

Just could not get into it...

In fact considering I watched it only 6 months ago, and I have a very good memory for films, I have no idea what happens in the film. Except a train chase thing... ? :dunno:

Watched Downfall last night, decent film and didn't think the subtitles really affected it. Prefer films in native languages than accents.

Watched The Rite last night. Finished reading the book last week so figured I'd see what the movie was like. The answer = Nothing like the book and a pile of poo in my opinion. Oh well. :/
