Saw "Four Lions" last night. A black comedy flick about a bunch of useless would be jihad suicide bombers. Got to be one of the funniest things I've seen in ages. Highly recommended :thumbup:

Saw Black Swan last night. Wasn't expecting to be that impressed but I really enjoyed it, even if it was somewhat intense.

Saw The Shining for the first time last night. Very good although not 10/10 good like i half expected.

Also watched Taxi Driver the other night. 3 times i've seen it now and yeah it's good but is it not a wee bit overrated? It's not Goodfellas or Scarface standard (slightly different genre sure).

Save yourself. Turn it off!! lol

I turned it off after 60 minutes. It was a load of nonsense. Over the top , it could never happen in a million years I can deal with, but this was something else.

Forgot to mention I watched this in the week...

Now this was half decent. But then anything with Denzel Washington in pretty much is.

Anything before 1996 starrning De Niro is amazing. Much the same for Pacino. So i was doing head over heels when Heat was released in 1995. lol

My fave film of all time. The Deer Hunter, Once Upon A Time In America, Goodfellas and Casino very close behind Heat though.

I watched Skyline last night and thought it was pretty decent even though it's only got an average rating of 4.7 or something on imdb. The very end was slightly disappointing but it didn't put a dampener on the evening.

Perhaps I only enjoyed Skyline because I had just had to sit through Possession with Sarah Guellar which is one of the worst films I think I've seen.

Will never watch Casino again after the baseball bat scene with Pesci. :S
