Well it was up against the likes of Twilight lol

That's like saying the best England footballers of all time are up against the likes of Carlton Palmer. However, I read somewhere that Near Dark was one of the best Vampire films ever, so I watched it. I wasn't very impressed.

Did you read it at the top of this page?

Tim & Eric are brilliant. Celery Man has to be my favourite skit.

I think I'll give Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie a watch.

Yes! They certainly are! And Celery Man is my favourite, too. "Ah, gimmie a printout of OYSTER smiling." I'm sure you'll enjoy Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie. I certainly did.

I hadn't heard of The FP. Looks good! I'll look out for it.

Went a bit mental in HMV at the weekend when I popped in to spend a voucher I got for Christmas, Ended up with the following:

It's Kind Of A Funny Story

Black Swan

Couples Retreat

Baby Mama

Sucker Punch

Inglorious Basterds

Attack The Block

Easy A

The A-Team

Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas

Also still got amongst others Blue Valentine, Thumbsucker, Lars And The Real Girl, Chumbscrubber, Valkyrie, Moon and Escape From LA.

More watching less buying I think.

Attack The Block is ****ing brilliant.

Couples Retreat was worth the £3 alone for Kristen Bell in a bikini.

Inglorious Basterds gets better with every viewing.

Only got around to watching Girl With A Dragon Tattoo. I can see why people disliked it, but for me it was another Zodiac-esque movie, bar with a most excellent designed intro I've seen for some time. It was good enough. I've not read the book, nor seen the original, so can't comment on how accurate the remake is, but it was good, and nice to see character with a bit of depth, be it the dark side of them.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Not bad, very complicated and very long. Can't help feeling it could have been better.

No problem Phube, you're still respectfully wrong. This is on so many Number 1 lists for a reason. Brilliance. :D

:P

Justin Bieber is popular too... doesn't mean it's right!

(Just in case you think I've gone mad; I'm NOT comparing Shawshank with Bieber... but popularity is not proof a quality. I just prefer Green Mile).

Really good, completely slipped under the radar when it came out. Russell Crowe makes it feel alot more human than most thrillers. There were a couple of unnecessary set-pieces but the final third was genuinely exciting.
