Alexikokopops Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 he's finally going then. Why does the deal actually happen 8 1/2 hours before the cut off, when the player gave in a transfer request 3 months ago. Madness. Because Wigan were holding out for as large a sum as they could get but after today they're not gonna get the chance to sell him until January so they're gonna accept an offer.
lcfc_jme Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 ' date='Aug 31 2006, 03:29 PM' post='387451']My thoughts exactly Ahh so I do know what I'm on about sometimes then he's finally going then. Why does the deal actually happen 8 1/2 hours before the cut off, when the player gave in a transfer request 3 months ago. Madness. Making him suffer I suppose, he's not exactly a like figure in the dressing room or stadium in those parts now. Also means they could demand a higher fee for him and they'd be more likely to get it as clubs rush around madly securing deals for a lot of players.

Stevosevic Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Somebody has actually suggested on 606 that we are going to sign Duncan Ferguson obviously great if it happened because he could be a real handful in this league but the chances of it happening are about 1,000,000/1 http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mb606/F4472021?thread=3422633

Stevosevic Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 MDV in disguise. you must agree that he would be a great player to throw on for the last 20minutes? but alot of people would argue we already have COG to do this job.

Might as well have kept MDV if we were going to do that. He'll only get himself sent off anyway.

Manwell Pablo Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 I stand correct. It's the dreaded metatarsal he has broken so he's got no chance of playing against us.

Jon the Hat Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Can't believe they're permanent! It was reported that they'd be loan deals. Absolutey amazing signings! Got to be permanent deals with a clause allowing them to move to Chelsea for a set fee next Summer. There is absolutley no way this can possibly be anything else. Abramovich money is behind it. Got to be.
