Jon the Hat Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Theres a conflict of interest there surely. Roman can't put money into West Ham. West Ham could easily borrow £25 million with a guaranteed sales price in 12 months.
Mark Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Plymouth have signed the legendary Cherno Samba (the player who was once talked of being the spearhead of Englands assault on World Cup 2006).
Manwell Pablo Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 West Ham could easily borrow £25 million with a guaranteed sales price in 12 months. You can't lend clubs money that is also illegal.

Alexikokopops Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Got to be permanent deals with a clause allowing them to move to Chelsea for a set fee next Summer. There is absolutley no way this can possibly be anything else. Abramovich money is behind it. Got to be. In the BBC article it states: But the Hammers are thought to have struck a deal with Media Sports Investments, who own the rights to the two players. MSI were linked with a takeover of West Ham last season but eventually pulled out. Maybe MSI are planning a takeover of West Ham again, and funded it? Or something like that. Another rumour to add to the hotpot, rumour discussing is fun.
lookwhaticando Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 The Race Is On! Just six more hours until the deadline is upon us. Will Ashley Cole move to Chelski? Will Reyes **** off back to Spain? Will Richard Stearman be snapped up for a large sum by a top 10 club? Will Alan Maybury finally skip down to Sunderland? Will Big Dunc Ferguson move to Leicester, and take up the position of player charged with beating up the opposition, a position not filled since Taggart's departure? The mystery continues.

Alexikokopops Posted 31 August 2006 Posted 31 August 2006 Yes but is'nt that owned By one of Romans M8's I don't know Edit: He owns a 15% share. MSI were behind the attempt of Kia Joorabchian to take over West Ham, so they could be behind another attempt. It's plausible
