Jon the Hat Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Anyone got an account with www.192.com? There are details for a Milan Mandaric in Hampshire but you need an account to access them. We could send him some personal pleas to get involved (or would that be just twa tty?) I expect you would get a PA anyway, but then that might not be a bad thing.
Wycombe Fox Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 yep, but I wouldnt fancy getting a call from the filth re stalking or hectoring! Is it any different from LCFC getting one for masquerading as a football club?
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Don't start peserting him you'll put him off, remember he's still Chairman of Portsmouth till tomorrow.

So you don't think I should get on the ferry and nip over the Solent to have a quick word with him them? I could be at Fratton Park within the hour! I could go with the whole Isle of Wight Foxes Fan Club - he's sure to listen to both of us!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 September 2006 Author Posted 25 September 2006 Ok own up who else has voted no? You're totally messing up the figures now

MC Prussian Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Can't buy me love, but all the other good things in life. Make Leicester your new mistress, Milan!
Louise Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 A lot of interesting articles on Milan on the Pompey vitalfootball site today: http://www.portsmouth.vitalfootball.co.uk
Thracian Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Probabley Thracian. If that's what the fans want why would I vote against it?. Do you not think I want the best for Leicester? My inner feelings haven't changed on the subject but this is not about how to win football matches it is about deciding who should run and control a club. On that score I wouldn't especially back my own opinion against anyone else's because I've never been a football administrator and other fans are as likely to be right as I am. Whether we climb into the Premiership under Mandaric will probably depend on how many other millions he's up against at other clubs. And the right manager. And some luck. All things considered I'm not convinced and especially considering I believe the club is well ableto look after itself with the right singleminded ledership. If Mandaric comes I will wish him the best but I wished and still wish Kelly the best too. I just don't think Kelly will either listen or change his stance significantly. A bit like Levein really. Fancy too successive managers suffering from the same visionary malfunction. Extraordinary. If Mandaric came and persuaded Keegan to be manager now that might lift my mood. But I'd still think of Mandaric as a mercenary with no connection with or love for Leicester but there are probably worse people in the world than mercenaries and I'm no King Canute. I can't roll back the tide of demand.

Thracian Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Like Idoits and Lazy toss pots which we are currently drowning in. There's no way I can defend the Board. Despite having months to do something, there's no sign they've sorted the reserves situation out and there's certainly been no communication with the fans on the issue. At the Academy match on Saturday I heard several people complaining independently about the situation, about how much they had missed the reserves matches and about the consequent effect on various players. Add to that the farcical pre-season football programme, the disgraceful advert for football they promoted against Sociedad, the piss-poor PR generally, the lack of buzz around the place and the continued lack of any apparently worthwhile investment and it doesn't show our Board in a good light at all.
Maybes Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Lets all worship our new *fingers crossed* GOD. Please take us over MILAN!!
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Don't feel to enthused about it all after tonight, I think he will probabley buy Wednesday.
Finnegan Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Narh. Why Wednesday? Their ground might be big but isn't it a bit old and knackered?
davieG Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Don't feel to enthused about it all after tonight, I think he will probabley buy Wednesday. I'm not so sure, why did he do the interview if there wasn't just an inkling of interest. Could be a smokescreen but it doesn't require an interview to create one.
Mort Posted 25 September 2006 Posted 25 September 2006 Narh. Why Wednesday? Their ground might be big but isn't it a bit old and knackered? Also they have direct competition from SU, ditto Wolves with Villa/Brum/West Brom ...I've said before we're a good long term investment by virtue of the huge potential fan base we have with no real competition unless Forrest reemerge (which they look like doing... but even then it only one potentially big competitior compared to Wednesday who have SU and Leeds and Wolves who have Villa/Brum/West Brom). But I've made far less money than Mr Mandaric.
