De Vries is gone for the season so the shirt will be vacant I would think. Why we just don't recall him instead of offering a dried up League one reject I don't know.
I_miss_wembley_finals Posted 29 September 2006 Posted 29 September 2006 Strange that this has come up today, I was thinking about it in light of Lee Hendrie going to Stoke - starting to question the logic here: We can't compete for Lee Hendrie because we have no money, yet we are bothering to take on a past it, nobody who for some reason warranted a trial. Surely if Asaba, if offered a contract, is to be the one who takes up the last little crumbs of budget they can scrape together there is more wrong with the administration of Leicester City Football Club than ever?? If it is to push us even closer to the edge of our financial envelope then why even bother trialling him given we have quite a few strikers here already and desperately short midfield?? Yet more that just doesn't make sense to me........
