Thracian Posted 22 November 2006 Share Posted 22 November 2006 He knows very little about other teams in our division or below. I'd have no doubt given a free choice. I'd have Robert Earnshaw. I wanted him here when he was at Cardiff. I'm just not into wheeling off endless names of endless people who might come here in theory. And it would depend on what my priorities were which wouldn't be easy to decide at Leicester.

Grant McCann is having another very impressive season at Cheltenham. His contract is up in the summer and he'll be leaving this January for a nominal fee, perhaps £50-100k maximum. We were linked with him last season. Matt Jarvis from Gillingham is another great young midfielder, not necessarily a central midfielder. But he's an attacking midfielder who can play out wide or just behind the front two. Mark Jones at Wrexham is another central midfielder with a great eye for goal. He scored over 15 goals last season and is on the fringes of the Wales squad. Getting to the age where he must be ready to make the step up a division or two.
