lcfc_jme Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Thats optimistic, although we were on the telly Vs Spurs only 11,000 city fans turned up, the others were 5,000 spurs fans. A lot hinges in the takeover deal, if it goes through then perhaps 27,000. Can't fault optimism son I know we won't sell out. Nowhere near. But if we're getting 20,000+ at league games when we're piss poor and losing, we'll definitely get in more than 20,000 for the cup game as well. A lot of the attendance will depend on how many they bring down

john_lcfc Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 fullham how shit this is possible the worst draw we could have had and here is why. its at home(im sure everyone wanted an away tie) against possible the most boring/unfashionable side in the country. the crowd will struggle to get to 20,000 if ticket prices are the usual £25 etc etc fulham will probably bring about 600 fans and its not a great "big" game so the atmosphere will be crap. we will be well underdogs and most probable be out the f.a cup at the 1st chance. positives: we get to play a premiership club.. whhooopeey doooo. i wanted either a crap team away, a crap team at home or a great team away or a great team at home.. we got a team a lot better but not "great" and they have no fans... i hope we win then we can get a "decent" tie
Matt Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 At least the lazy players we have in our team will raise there game for this one. The players thoughts on the draw are;- "Oh dear, Premiership team, we need to actually play well in this game" The players thoughs on a normal league match/lower league team;- "We can beat these with our eyes closed, There rubbish"
davieG Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Full draw: Blackpool v Aldershot/Basingstoke Barnet v Colchester Sheff Utd v Swansea Reading v Burnley Portsmouth v Wigan Mansfield/Doncaster v Bolton West Ham v Brighton Leicester v Fulham Derby v Wrexham Wolves v Oldham Bury/Chester v Ipswich Man Utd v Aston Villa Sheff Wed v Man City Tamworth v Norwich Salisbury/Nottm For v Charlton Cardiff v Tottenham Preston v Sunderland Liverpool v Arsenal Bristol Rovers/Bournemouth v Hereford Watford v Stockport Crystal Palace v Swindon Bristol City v Coventry Peterborough v Plymouth QPR v Luton Southend v Barnsley West Brom v Leeds Hull v Middlesbrough Birmingham v Newcastle Torquay/Leyton Orient v Southampton Everton v Blackburn Chelsea v Macclesfield Stoke v Bradford/Millwall
The People's Hero Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Perhaps whilst Fulham are here, we can plant Elvis on their team bus for when they leave. With any luck, they won't click until they're back in London. By then we'll have changed the locks.

Simi Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 We could get a replay out of this Anybody have any experience of Craven Cottage as a ground ? Atmosphere wise ?
lcfc_jme Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 We could get a replay out of this Anybody have any experience of Craven Cottage as a ground ? Atmosphere wise ? Worse than ours, as Wils correctly pointed out earlier Their entire ground is pretty much like our West Stand in terms of atmosphere
dandannieldanok Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 We could get a replay out of this Anybody have any experience of Craven Cottage as a ground ? Atmosphere wise ? THey have mixed home and away support in one stand don't they, one of the worst prem grounds.
john_lcfc Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 We could get a replay out of this Anybody have any experience of Craven Cottage as a ground ? Atmosphere wise ? erm ground has character.. atmosphere- all there fans sit down and no one sings exept the odd "fulham fulham"
Leonisco Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Good draw this. If we win, fantastic we've caused an upset - if we lose, doesn't matter cos no-one's expecting us to win. Should be a good game and I'm already looking forward to it.
Simi Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 erm ground has character.. atmosphere- all there fans sit down and no one sings exept the odd "fulham fulham" Sounds familar
newtonfox Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 could have been worse we could of had a none leauge team and they beat us
Kilworthfox Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 could have been worse we could of had a none leauge team and they beat us Well its not the best or worst of draws Fulham are 1 of those team's that are just nothing, same as the likes of Wigan Reading Blackburn Middlesborough Chelsea (never as big as they are now) They are not deserving of their current status they are only where they are due to money men and have left teams with a following which deserves decent standard of football like Leicester Fo**est Sunderland although i hate to say it kernts sheff wed as yesterdey showed leeds Man city although back now suffered All teams with proper support who all would have brought more than the mighty FULHAM
DB11 Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Bring on Fulham A repeat of Tottenham I hope, only I wonder who'll be in charge

Leicester Lass Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Could be better, could be worse. Let's make some more Cockney's cry at the Walkers!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Could be better, could be worse. Let's make some more Cockney's cry at the Walkers!! I think our best bet is all turning up half an hour late. The club will blame traffic, delay the kickoff and all the Fulham fans will miss the last train home.

Anyway, I'm optomistic we can beat these, Fulham are predominantly poor away from home, although i've just had a moan at King moaner myself, what he says in his second paragraph is true.
lookwhaticando Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Disappointed by the draw for us, to be fair. I would have preferred a lower league club to ease us into the whole FA Cup thing again, then a Premiership club in the next round. Still, at least we'll get to see a potential new manager of ours in action. :P

Manwell Pablo Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 Not the worst draw, we could of got a half decent Championship team away from home and then we really would have of lost. Fulham play some good stuff but their away form as been the downfall for awhile, put this togther with the fact that we always seem to perform against Premier League oppenents and Fulhams exit to Leyton Orient in the 3rd round last year I say we have a chance.

Maybes Posted 3 December 2006 Posted 3 December 2006 I am very disappointed in the draw. We wont fill the ground. It would have been much better drawing some lower league team away from home
