:o

noooooooooo.

don't get the chance to go to many games but have got my tickets booked for this bad boy.

surely they won't - even for that arsenal liverpool game the only one who wanted to call it off was the ref. hopefully common sense will prevail...

what's the weather like up in leicester anyway?

Foggy, like really foggy!! I'm sure you won't see the other side of the stadium from the Kop!!!:cry:

If it's as bad as it is here in Coalville then you won't even see the halfway line from the kop.

If it does get called off how much notice are we going to get?

I'd say it'd be called off around 2ish for fog. Or even right up until kick off.

i think it should be alright , its more of a light fog and standing on the aylestone road you can still see the stadium.

i do not think i have seen a game cancelled i have watched or payed tickets for.

there was the WBA game that we won 4-2 when little was here and during the match a major thunderstorm took place where it absolutely lashed it down with great arcs of lightning in the evening sky

the tranmere game , same season where they had to get volunteers in to shovel the snow off the pitch and it was absolutely freezing :o and who can forget the portsmouth game , same season , where the power failed at halftime. being an evening match it went pitch black but the bloody sparkies  got the power back on and we lost.

Forecast for tomorrow is very poor,if anything the fog will be worse and with the Walker's next to the canal and the river it will be touch and go if it's played,as much to do with travelling to and from the ground as with visibility on the actual pitch apparently :( !

in what way???

less likely to travel to the ground cos of road conditions?

unable to find the ground cos of density of fog?

inability to locate players due to cardiff's white strip?

Posted

Would you travel to a game knowing there was an 80% risk of it being called off?

not the best travelling conditions either :santa:

I live on a small street - about 7 houses and you can't see the other end of the street so yep, the fog is really bad.

If I had to bet money than I'd say, judging by today at least, that it would get called off. Maybe not straight away but at least by the time they've realised they can't see so half way through 1st half?

*IF IT GOT CALLED OFF DURING THE GAME AND A TEAM WAS WINNING WHAT WOULD HAPPEN?*

in what way???

If it's called off at about 2 then I'd imagine that the Cardiff fans will already be in Leicester.

Hence a long trip back to Cardiff without seeing the match.

I'd be a bit peeved.

 I wouldn't travel if there was 50% chance of it being called off!

How do you work out the chance of a game being called off in percentage terms?

Sat in my house in Rothley, I can easily see a football pitch's distance up the road - the weather here's either an enigma or you're all being drama queens.

Fock off. It's my only game of the Christmas break, I've only got nine days off work before I'm dragged back to London. If the game's called off, I'm going up to Manchester to assassinate Morrisey - then you'll know EXACTLY how I'd be feeling.
