gosfox Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Who do you think is the most skillful (not neccessarily the best) player ever to pull on the blue shirt.....I know that there have been quite a few to choose from but my vote would have to go to Frankie Worthington.... on his day he could be sublime but who do you think was better than Frankie?
The Don Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 David Oldfield - his stepover was just mesmarising!!
lildave3 Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Steve Guppy Gups was pretty skillful. Of the current crop, Hume has got some skills in the bag
Austin Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Sylla ??? =| or ......... ......................... .......... Muzzy =D
hairy Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Roberto Mancini Agreed. I did watch Worthington play but I cant remember that much about it.
Webbo Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Agreed. I did watch Worthington play but I cant remember that much about it. me too. i'd have to say gary parker was the best passer of a ball.
renards Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 How the **** did we get Roberto Mancini?! He was a mate of Svens If I rememeber Taylor helped Sven settle into the England job,Sven suggested Manchini could do a short term job for us+ sorted the deal

syston_fox Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Ryan Smith's second half performance against Derby last season was pretty special!
Candidcamera Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Ryan Smith's second half performance against Derby last season was pretty special! The most enjoyable were the Doog, Worthy, Gary & Emile. Midfielders Weller, Davie Gibson, Lennon and Izzet, Joey. Back Walshie, Elliot, Graham Cross, Sjoberg, Ian King. Goalies Banks, Shilton.
Jay Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 Roberto Mancini the thing is you can't question the fact that Mancini was one of the finest players to pull on a Leicester shirt however when he arrived he was 10 years to late when he was overweight, unfit and couldn't run!! I would prefer to go on how a player performed in a Leicester shirt and not what they did elsewhere Muzzy at the top of his game was a great player for us who scored some very special goals so I would have to go for him
Steven Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 He was a mate of Svens If I rememeber Taylor helped Sven settle into the England job,Sven suggested Manchini could do a short term job for us+ sorted the deal I still have the shirt.
dandannieldanok Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 From my era it would have to be Muzzy Izzet.
gosfox Posted 15 February 2007 Author Posted 15 February 2007 I must say that just reading some of the names makes the hairs on the back of my neck slightly stand up We have had some pretty skillful players over the years.....lets hope we can look forward to seeing a few more in the near future
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 February 2007 Posted 15 February 2007 You lot are mentalists. Blatantly Franz Carr.
