Bert Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 I'm sure I could have a word with Thracian, being assistant and all mikey...put you in the team for el berty ? Whatever the manager deems best for the team will make me happy.
potter3 Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Does all the U21's have a WHITE England top?? We can play in that. Yes but mines got a mysterious rusty oil stain ever since I lent it to SUAS
Bert Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Yes but mines got a mysterious rusty oil stain ever since I lent it to SUAS Trains. Again? Tut.
Mikey Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Turn up, impress the gaffer in training and you might play. Where are you having training or does that still need sorting out?
Bert Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Where are you having training or does that still need sorting out? June 3rd, St. Margaret's swimming baths.
Thracian Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 C-Man has done a brilliant job of contacting many of the initial squad members and ascertaining their normal playing positions and their preferred get-together. From that information it is overwhelmingly clear that Sunday June 3 at 3-00 pm would be the best meeting day, venue to be announced accoording to what's available but Victoria Park seems most likely. I've added Mikey to the squad (please PM me your preferred position and whether you're alright to join us on Sunday 3rd).It is obviously disappointing that one or two could only manage the Saturday - and I apologise to them for having to go with Sunday but, those apart and one or two who live too far away to join us anyway we should have a really good quorum. Certainly enough for a decent work out, to sort out a few duplicated positions, and for the chance to get to know one another properly and have a fun afternoon. My sincere thanks to C-man and to all of you who have offered support.
filbertway Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 I bet Mikey gets in the team because hes the youngest.
Cobbo Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Training is for poofs. Just turn up and kick lumps out of each other. Poofters.

Joe. Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 No problem mate!I heard the position of captain is available? Only joking, I think Berty should have that I bet "El Captiono" Jamie will fight him for it....

cisono Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 I bet "El Captiono" Jamie will fight him for it.... Captiono? "Capitano" perhaps?
lildave3 Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Captiono?"Capitano" perhaps? Jamie will want everything
cisono Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Jamie will want everything He doesn't strike me like the type to want everything
lildave3 Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 He doesn't strike me like the type to want everything He's not really, i just say it to wind him up. The big headed ****
cisono Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 He's not really, i just say it to wind him up.[PROPHANITIES DELETED] Watch out then!
Hullfox Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Training is for poofs.Just turn up and kick lumps out of each other. Poofters. Wise words Cobbo. Fraid the captains armband has already gone but am looking for a Player Coach. That sort of insight puts you right into the box seat.
Cobbo Posted 1 April 2007 Posted 1 April 2007 Wise words Cobbo.Fraid the captains armband has already gone but am looking for a Player Coach. That sort of insight puts you right into the box seat. Well I didn't do my coaching badges to come up with tactical nouse like that to not be used as a player coach so that sounds cracking to me. Cheers Roy
lcfc_jme Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 lildave3 is a bitch. I don't want everything at all, and if I'm not the captain then it really will not bother me. I'll have more time to worry about my own game than everyone elses. Whatever Thracian sees as best for our team is probably going to be right.

You know i'm joking Jamie And your right, there is no way that Thracian will not pick the best team, we will also be very, very attacking. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm looking forward to it. Ahh I know you're joking. You love winding me up as much as I enjoy winding everyone else up. Works in a roundabout sort of way. I look forward to finally playing in an extremely attacking side. It has been ages since I've done it and we've absolutely played a team off the park. Thracian's team tactics are the way forward.
blue blood Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 Btw - what's going on about kits?? im going to wear either my trusted nike goalie top or my lcfc goalie top oh yeah not to forget my gloves shorts socks quad warm shorts shinnys socks and footy boots
Thracian Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 You know i'm joking Jamie And your right, there is no way that Thracian will not pick the best team, we will also be very, very attacking. I'm looking forward to it. And so you should. But word has it that the over 21's are the early favourites on account of their strength, experience and the certainty that their liquid lunch will doubtless turn to the steam which will drive their greater engines. Our first job, I'm told, will be to simply to give a respectable account of ourselves. What more can we do?
The People's Hero Posted 2 April 2007 Posted 2 April 2007 I wouldn't have us as favourites. I just can't believe how seriously you lot are taking it!
