dandannieldanok Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Our goals were bloody luck, one which normally would have been given a frre kick to the keeper and a deflection.
JoeyB Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Kenton and elvis great finish Maybury i blame him for 2 of the goals there peno looks debatable, and stearman should of just hoofed the ball out for the last one not passed it

Ryanside Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 that defence was shocking, really was. I really cant wait for this season to be over! We're looking worse and worse as its progressing

Manwell Pablo Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Fuller dived so really it should have been 3-2 Fullers shit. Just not as shit as our defending, that was absloutley school boy, come back Gareth McAuley. Hendersons hardly had a great game either by the looks of things. Both our goals were Spwany, especially Elvis deleicately placed shot into the far corner, travelling at 0.003 mph.
teblin Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Don't think you can blame hendo really. Why was Nils dropped? Maybury fault the first goal, maybury and stearman the last one. Elvis's goal must have been deflected.
lookwhaticando Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Nils was dropped because we conceded three goals in the QPR match, so Rob decided to ring the changes. It's just unfortunate that when he rings in the changes like that, the team he puts out is usually worse than the one he's replacing.
escape2victory Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Well thats 7 goals conceded in 2 games without McAuley. He really is our defensive lynchpin these days. Hope he is back for Derby. How many times have we scored and then conceded straight after this season ? seems to have happened a few times. Seems just a lack of concentration. School boy stuff. Every goal came from a personal mistake. So frustrating
Fez of Mahrez Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Was McAuley training with the team before the game?
dandannieldanok Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Fullers shit. Thats debateable, he scored a class goal at the walkers and set up Sidibe's goal very well.

Simi Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Comical defending for every goal. Poor clearances, shocking attempts at marking and idiotic challenges.

potter3 Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 This is what happens when your back 4 contains 3 right backs......... Aren't Stearman and Kenton both supposed to be centre-backs naturally?
Joe. Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Aren't Stearman and Kenton both supposed to be centre-backs naturally? Stearman's favourite position is centre back. But Kenton is Mr. Versatile... Poor defence team selections on Saturday. We need McAuley. We've let in 7 goals in the two games without him <_<
Jonbluefox9 Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Off the top of my head, this is the third time this season that we've conceded 7 goals in back-to-back games. It happened with us conceding 3 at Norwich then 4 at home against Sheffield Wednesday, it happened with 4 at Fulham then 3 at Cardiff and again now. Difference is, those other occasions were either games in the same week or playing against Premiership opposition. We've had a two week break this time and still haven't tightened things up!!! I really thought when they had that break that they could use it to polish up all sorts of things. What the hell anyone deserved a break for I've no idea. lcfc_jme Posted 2 April 2007 Share Posted 2 April 2007 Absolutely horrific defending that is. As a manager, I would be mortified if any team of mine even considered defending quite like that. Garbage.
